Most features work fine after a quick test.

Known issues:
- Android upgrade tooltips displaying stats are temporarily disabled
- Something about needing alcohol (idk what's up with this one, doesn't seem to have an impact so far)

########## Original description ##########

A race of humanlike robots which are mostly female in model variety.

The origins of these machines are mostly unknown. Some speculate they are escapees from a civilization which used them for labor and some just suggest they are outdated pleasure machines which got dumped by a passing space freigher.

By design by their previous masters they are weak physically but their raw fortitude is enough to make up for it. Beware of their reactors violently exploding if they die by violent means or overheating.

Now you can discover and use the predecessors to Androids; the Droids. They are not much smarter than a improvised turret but they are relatively cheap to produce which make them easily replacable.

@simonscott Try other 3rd-party mod sorting programs such as RimSort since it has it's own texture converting technicalities of sorts. Just delete the old dds textures.

Unfortunately removing the dds files doesn't seem to have resolved the texture error

I think handling Androids as colonists is a serious flaw (unless this is a mod interaction or core limitation, then disregard this post).
I just had Battledroids take up space in the hospital prepared for other pawns and one BD exploded due to overheating and killed pawns that were in the hospital for a quest and other droids.
If the droids always explode upon death then a separate facility is needed for them. Hibernation pads don't work for this. However if a hibernated droid wouldn't explode upon death this would be a lot better, but they're not taken to those upon being downed upon damage.

Furthermore:
- droids can take colonists beds, this include hospital beds,
- droids are treated as colonists for Ideologion ritual purposes,
- probably other less obvious mechanical constraints.

That said The 2/3 above (with that one explosively obvious exception) is very useful.

The texture files exist with the correct names but as far as I can tell the .dds files in question are blank.

How does the texture error get fixed, looks absolutely grim in my run through but I'm not removing the mods, they are intrinsic to what I am doing. Any thoughts?

Hi everyone, the recent update has caused a texture error, which was triggered by the 'Android Expanded' mod and its related expansion mods. Please disable them.

ive just had the same bug too, although the game through up hundreds of missing texture errors at first, and now today, and after resubbing to everything its thrown up this mod on its own.
From what i can gather the unity engine has been updated slightly and now alot of modded textures are comming up as the wrong size, even though the whole thing worked fine thursday.
