I think I ran into a weird problem - since upgraded to LWOTC 1.2 (and started a new campaign), I never got even a single Counter Dark Event mission for permanent dark events. All permanent dark events got completed and I had nothing to do about them.
I wonder was that just me, or it's a intentionally designed feature?
So as for my tip with the spark goes, dont allow her to attack too much on player phase, lead her around to the best of your ability.
But as for all the chosen, killing them in a single turn can be very tricky as they all got a form of damage mitigation to be worked around.
The assassin is the most straightforward but reliable in her case, so a straightforward approach is whats needed. Fire with fire if you will.
I can also reccommend suiting up your whole team with Hazmat vests so that If she gets the Wave off, your troops wont melt instantly from the stacking DOTS.
Another strategy is quite niche but works too, lots of melee based characters with bladestorm. have them gang up on her so that when she takes an action on her turn she wont get the damage reduction and just eat a whole lot of damage.
I have found it nigh impossible to get out of a fight with the assassin without someone getting injured, shes very aggressive compared to her brothers, but you always know where you got her.
i reccommend briniging a spark with overdrive to, 1 play chicken with her. 3 actions is a lot of time to get in free damage without her retaliating. She CANNOT MOVE AND ATTACK in one injury action.
2, they are durable enough to take the hit on her turn, and stacking defense buffs on the spark before the assassins turn can decrease her chance to injure the spark as she can miss in LWOTC.
