Fun consept.
To exit, I just took advantage of how exit doors operate. If it detects my interesection with the door, it doesn't close with me in between.
Source and Hammer either couldn't do what I was coming up with or gave me non-stop weirdness (ex: triggers triggering on nothing when in motion). I could remove the realtime trigger checks and make a single button. That might fix the door issue by not erroneously sending the OpenDoor output (but that doesn't prevent someone from spamming the check button and causing the issue all over again).
So, my question is: glitch-free means a solution where all 9 tiles are erased on the facet of the big cube that is directly facing me, and ONLY those tiles, right?
I suppose a trivial introduction to the buttons I added to the circuits from Circuits would have been a good idea.
• Ingenious puzzle concept;
• Effective geometry;
• Hammer level;
Cons:
• Technical complexities of mechanic stress the game engine, often resulting in glitches;
Suggestions:
For a puzzle of this sort, a certain degree of glitchiness is expected, however, the player can often exit before the trigger-logic 'checks' itself; adding a delay mechanism to the door would eliminate this possibility.
