@LadyStoic DLC doesn't matter, if it works it works whether you have the DLC or not. This does indeed work, but I suspect it's also just an XML addition so, all that needs be done is updating the mod version to include 1.5.

@Balthazad: Well, it depends how you envision the mining vest. I mostly see it as a utility suit, designed to improve work abilities, not as a combat cloth.
But the magic of modding allows you to easily change it to your taste! :-)

@Dester You would need a way to mask out the areas of the light you do not wish to see. Which, if you want to do it properly would require a new shader built in Unity.

@M00nStalker: It may be possible but it is probably not that easy as I use a CompGlower to spawn/remove the light and pawns have no Comp themselves.

@Dester: that was the case in the early version of this mod but it was simplified as it was too CPU-intensive for a small realism benefit.

Causes draw flicker with Lights Out Mod. So conflicts with Lights Out. This flicker is very hard on people with brain issues.

I'm surprised there isn't more of these. I mean if we can craft guns.. it's almost a no brainer to have tactical flashlights on guns, helmets or shoulders. I truly hope the modder adds a combat grade model, or at the very least someone else provides a series of tactical combat gear with directional lighting. Nightvision goggles would be cool to along with advanced tier thermal goggles.

I just noticed the funniest bug. When pawns are doing lovin', the lights turn on, when they are done, the lights go out again. xD

With Royalty the helmet counts as a building when the wearer is inside a monument, so the game gives an alert about the monument being destroyed. Goes away when they walk out, just FYI
