I'm getting the inventory window still right over the center and changing the value just moves the container window's distance from center. Anyone have any ideas?

If you follow the instructions on the base Container UI customization page, but rename the "/displayCenteredWindowGap" attribute to "/bringAdjacentWindowGap", those instructions work.

Change for following content in "interface.config.patch" to work with new version of Starbound (>1.3), and It will work - the attribute has been renamed:

Both versions no longer work in 1.1. I hope you're able to update because the container behavior in the base game still stinks.

So after tweaking the manual version for a while I quickly noticed the mod doesn't do anything in multiplayer, FML.

What a dilemma, the original mod barely moves the windows at all and this variant makes my inventory windows go outside my 1920x1080 screen. Gonna try the manual version instead.

make sure that you enable asset mismatch in the options if you play on a server.

In your README it says to open "interface.config.path" instead of .patch, just an fyi.
