@dunestyler this mod keeps the cost per soldier the same as base game.
to clarify, the entire purpose of this mod is to reduce the size of brigades to 12

brigade was 40 men? is now 12, brigade was 20 men? is now 12
paid wages for 40 men? now only pay for 12, paid for 20? now only paying for 12

this means that the brigade size is basically the only thing that has changed

@Criz Can you release a version without the change to unit sizes?
in my opinion, it becomes unplayable because of this.

Is there a way to increase upgrade slots of resource buildings?
I just honestly think that their ceiling of productivity is a bit too low and they should improve more as the game progresses.

yeah it changes the number of soldiers in a brigade and it changes the cost for the brigade to match the new number of soldiers.

the description states this so no idea why you ask as a comment instead of just reading...
and the mod havent recived any updates or attention from me in quite a while so it may or may not work...

Changes has been done in the base game so the mod apparently requires the DLC this is me not keeping up with all changes...

Hey! Cool, I wasn't sure if anyone would check this. When I try to run it with this mod, it says, "Error caught while parsing entity file named 'Resources\bridgedlc\brigade_elephant.xnt' Error trying to merge entity. Original entity not found (Class:brigade, Type: elephant) This error could be caused by missing DLC or mods." In the mod description it says that the DLC is not required, is it required?

The mod as is works. the brigade size, brigade upkeep and archers works just fine
tested it just before posting this (with no other mods active)

If by chance new units have been added then those wont be affected by my changes and if that's the case post comment or reach out to me and i can add them in

I live. wish there was a sub mod to just make units use smaller models. i do like the whole smaller models but not numbers in units. hard to make formations since the models are too big to make lines.

TEXO KG i'm fully aware of that fact, however i felt the need to be able to recruit and replenish the archer units instead of disbanding and then hire new ones after every battle where you lose a few archers in a brigade, and the only way for that to happen was to make "roman archers"

Romans had no archers, they were hiring auxilarry units for that. Roman skirmishers were javelineers/light infantry (velites) and slingers

Not a bad idea, I personally prefer larger Brigades, but I can't say this isn't an interesting approach to some issues H3 has.

a few things:
Companions now have appalingly low numbers(2 axemen for etruscans) because the Companion code specifies "-10" basesize. so you'd have to edit that one to say "mult" "-0.5"
reducing the worker brigade size and increacing the Building Capacity is a cool move aswell. however this makes all things horribly expensive to maintain, as Workers still cost 10 per week.

May I also point out that this pairs great with my Officer-Mod, because the costincreace is now based on the basecost and not a flat +10.

PS: good to see Buildings can be modded now *thumbsup*
