Whenever I see this mod I'm reminded how raiders practically ruined this game's launch.

I haven't updated since the major game changes a few vesrions back. I presume it doesn't work w the current version but as raiders have a much lesser role now I haven't worried about it.

is there anything you have to do to activate it? i look in the mods & DLC section on the menu and it says the mod is active but the raiders are the same size. or is it not working with the current version of the game?

I actually haven't tried it yet for the sole reason that enslaving one or two groups of raiders isn't worth the effort, as escorting 2 to 7 survivors our of those 26 enemy skirmishers back to my towns or directly into a structure is more of a nuisance than anything. And this is vanilla game I'm talking about, so if your mod lowered those groups of 20 men out of 30 down to groups of 10/30 then there won't be any survivors to begin with.
I'll install the mod right now and see how the changes in number affect my game and if it does work for the current version.

Intersesting ideas. I wssn't sure this mod still worked w the new version (3.2) . I haven't played H3 for a while. I'll check it out next time.

I don't want to sound an annoying beggar, but why not make a version in which they have lower morale instead of less numbers? At least they still represent some sort of threat but the fight would be shorter. Moreover (and this is what I'm getting at), the sooner they surrender, the more of them you can take captive and send them to your mines and farms, don't you think? I think it was in the 3.1 version of the game, where I would get so many slaves that all my assets (upgraded with Living Quarters) would have 20 workers and 20 slaves and I had to lock them up in forts until I could send them to some newly conquered resource-producing facility.
My idea would be to make them more numerous in terms of brigade size (if possible) and/or to decrease their morale. Thank you for your time.

you just go to the brigades_raiders_archer.xnt and
brigades_raiders_cavalry.nxt etc files and reduce their squad size, movements speed etc. as you l like.

(I'm not sure how well this mod works now w version 3.2 beta )

Did you modify values in the globals.xnt file? I'm trying to mod the raiders as well but I don't know where to find the values.

I'd love a mod with no raiders, I think they detract from the overall strategy of the game.

i dont know why need, i played first time, and one unite per border-city was enough to kill this raiders. i never had problems

If I could reskin the Units here, there would be already a Spartan reskin from me ^^. So no i dont know how to reskin them here.

Robcore. I guess all this stuff if possible but I don't know how to do it. I've trialed a Stroger Raiders mod but if brigade size > 30 it crashes ! I'll make the raider brigades faster and have more hitpoins than before. That'll buff them a bit. PS Any tips on unit reskin modding ?

hm. Can you also make them happen more often. Since I captured around 15 cities they never appeared again... Also the AI Enemies are too dumb to attack me. They all got no food and their Units just route when they see my army... So maybe make 2 times more units?
But theres the next problem haha. That would be realy annoying if they would come with soo many units on one place. Would be hard to handle them through all around the map :/ Would be better if you could give the other Factions endless food maybe?

Robcore - yes can do. It's pretty easy. How big do you want their brigades ? Same size for skirmishers, spears and hoplites ??
