Hee, hee. I just saw in the comments I played this map before in 2015. Still challenging and fun the second time around.

Thanks. As far as the platform, I started using hammer and I was very raw at the time. You can see my progression as you play through the RC and CC chambers. By the end of the CC5, I think I got much better and CC5 offers two endings.

A very good map, but the cube button behind the fizzler should have been a pedestal button on a platform.

OK map, but I personally found it very difficult to work out what does what - @IVO sums it up quite well. I played your 'RC2-1 (Styx)' map first and liked it - I hope the other three are up to its standard.

Interesting map, I watched the video, I gained altitude to jump on the button without using funnel... ;) Thanks for enjoing!

Enjoyed this test map!

Thank you for testing. I'm happy to hear you liked it.
Honest_Cake 1 Feb, 2015 @ 11:00am
A very well thought out test. Every solution was very satisfying once you figured it out, and they were all quite tricky. Redirection cubes are generally my favorite test element, so I'm looking forward to the rest of the maps :)

Only thing is that the button that stays activated may be a liiiiitle decieving, but that's alright, and I'm pretty sure I didn't use whatever the moon simble was. I think.
Andi  [author] 27 Jan, 2015 @ 5:05pm
@ jokemaster Thanks for testing. I’m sorry this chamber wasn’t to your liking but thank you for the well thought out criticism. When I was making this chamber it didn’t occur to me that the excessive use of signage would be a problem, but then again, I remember some of the chambers I played that had the same problem. That’s by fault.

@ P0rtalmaster Thanks for testing. The next chamber has Bee2 and some hammer in it.
Daoud Baba 27 Jan, 2015 @ 4:14am
Alright, i got it... Because of the bad signalisation, i was stuck for a long while in this test ! When there are a weighted button which activated a perpetual mechanism, i love to see the stuff behind or next to that button. Also, i never figured out what the cube button does in 2nd action ? crescent moon symbol is really strange and confusing. The piston platform of starting can be bypassed and there are an other final solution cause we can down in cube area without loosing portal in last room. Other that, i can't say this chamber is shitty, but i'm little bit dispointed (and propably frustrated) by the false difficulty of this test ; so no vote for me, and sorry for the negative feedback.
The Sojourner 27 Jan, 2015 @ 12:12am
Also nice use of BEE2 testing elements. Really opens up a whole new world doesn't it?
The Sojourner 27 Jan, 2015 @ 12:11am
Got temporarily stumped, but otherwise a nice trip :p2cube:
Andi  [author] 20 Jan, 2015 @ 8:59pm
Thanks for testing.
jandlml 20 Jan, 2015 @ 8:50pm
was able to finish it .i think i did it alittle differently .
Andi  [author] 20 Jan, 2015 @ 11:38am
You need to fling the cube into the lower half of the second room. The second funnel will help you place it.
jandlml 19 Jan, 2015 @ 11:23pm
i am so hopelessly stuck .would love to go on,i do like this chamber.i think im in the second room. it has a button that turns on afunnel, look down through the grate to see a button that opens the door on the other side,a flip panel that would would flip you through a laser field, and the little room at the other side with a button on the wall behind a fizzle barrior and a small button that i dont know what it turnedon.have no idea how to open door on the floor.hopelessly stuck.hint?
Daoud Baba 16 Jan, 2015 @ 5:09am
Damn !! I stayed a good while in this chamber and i was only able to figuring out the first part.... After, all look's like impossible for me, especially when i saw that fizzler with no connexion front the button on the wall ! I feel like a noob :/ I'll don't give up and come back later :D
Andi  [author] 12 Jan, 2015 @ 5:19pm
Thanks, problem fixed and thanks fior testing.
dire.fcs 12 Jan, 2015 @ 4:58pm
Nice work Andi; I had some time to get how to go to the last room (sometimes I forgot Beemod elements), (nice funny move); not as hard as it seems but very well thoughts moves; (I never used the platform/piston on the first room because it's possible to portal ourselves to the angled panel from the first room [/spoiçer]); the signage was a bit confusing at first but then it gets fitted in the map when we get the whole idea. I didn't found the CC yet. Thumbs up

I'm GLaD you liked it. Thanks for testing.
Traveler807 12 Jan, 2015 @ 5:07am
The last step caused me some headaches, but good fun as always:)

Thanks for testing.
jgaultney 11 Jan, 2015 @ 9:12am
A challenging and entertaining puzzle that required a lot of thought every step of the way :)
There's a small chance I did something unintended because I did not need to use this
laser-field blocked lower door. Screenshot

Thanks for testing.
GBMusicMaster 10 Jan, 2015 @ 2:28pm
Finally found the companion cube! Whew--now I feel like I can move on.
Andi  [author] 9 Jan, 2015 @ 11:17pm
That is the intended solution behind the laser field and thanks for the info on the first room. Thanks for testing and I will check out your workshop.
Brave 9 Jan, 2015 @ 6:28pm
Took coming back a few times before figuring your map out and finally seeing what I had to do, it wasn't obvious to me because of the map distance, but I took a Picture behind the laser field before activating the other catcher that triggers both X and Triangle symbol.
Note: You can skip the 1st area not putting the cube on the weighted cube button or picking up the laser to hit the catcher to activate the piston platform, just get your height and shoot a portal pass the laser field hitting the angle panel getting to the 2nd area, but I did figure out the intended way before seeing that small exploit.
Overall puzzles and map designed is average compared to some of your other work, but I still thumbs it up!
Don't forget to check out my two latest maps Andi, see you around the workshop.
Andi  [author] 7 Jan, 2015 @ 9:57pm
Thanks for testing.

@ stormsend and GBMusicMaster, I'm GLaD you liked it.

@ |\_/() Sorry this chamber wasn't to your liking. I will try your chamber and I will comment, thanks for testing,

@ Kizzycocoa The room when you get the cube? Watch the top of the fizzler as you make contact with the laser catcher.
stormsend 7 Jan, 2015 @ 4:17pm
Upon replaying I found that it really wasn't too difficult. I also found that CC by looking everywhere after each connection was made. That is a tricky spot. Once again, great map.
stormsend 7 Jan, 2015 @ 3:38pm
I think I did it. I was so dizzy I'm not sure how I got there but the exit was open and I ran through. I'm going to be replaying this one to be sure I did it right and to look for the CC. Awesome design. That first chamber was a difficult start and it didn't get any easier after that. You made a great map this time and I'm adding it to my fav's. Thank you.
GBMusicMaster 7 Jan, 2015 @ 12:57pm
* That should have read "one of my own maps." Oops.
GBMusicMaster 7 Jan, 2015 @ 12:31pm
If I may chime in again, one of the things I like best about Andi's chambers is that, while they are rarely easy to solve, she always lays out everything you need when you need it. I was stuck in the first chamber for a long time before I realized what she meant for me to do. (Sadly, I had put a very similar strategy into one of my one maps, so I was a little chagrined not to recognize it sooner.) Once you move into the next room, everything you need is there, and so on. Only at the end of the map do you realize how neatly it all fits.

I know signage drives people crazy sometimes, but just focus on the current room and don't worry about the rest until you get there.
Kizzycocoa 7 Jan, 2015 @ 11:45am
Unable to get past the first room. unclear indicators of what does what (how the hell do I turn off that death field?!), and even trying to glitch the cube onto the laser field, going to the other side and trying to land a portal on that wall by the death field falls short. though it's amazing how collission breaks when trying to hold a cube through those grates. they become 1-way solid walls.

I simply cannot do this. there is no direction. no discernable way out. nothing even remotely looking like a viable option. no laser catcher through the glass, nothing on the ceilings, no way to get higher, there is nothing I can do to beat this first chamber.

Check out my latest map (why do I comment on your maps, when you don't do the same for mine?), where you will find a simple test with few elements and connections (yeah, it has one thing from hammer, but it's a thing , which anyone can add). Don't get me wrong, I like hard maps, but e.g. Mevious' maps also include only one funel per map or only one laser grid per map or...etc. - and his maps are veeerry hard.
| \_/ () 7 Jan, 2015 @ 8:48am
When you said it's better than your last chamber it sounded as if I hated it. I didn't, I enjoyed it, but it seems I gave too much improvement suggestions. As for this map - I really don't like it. And I won't give any improvement suggestions, because I think the map can't be fixed.
It's frustrating tolose track of where your cube is,
it's annoying to figure out which button/caser catcher is connected to what,
it'snot satisfying to solve the puzzle.
Seriously, keep things simple! There are too any things in this map. And I've told you never to start building a map without an idea. I think you strted making this map by thinking "I'll just connect this to this, put some of this here, oh, it will be a good brainteaser if I place this here and connect it to this..."
GBMusicMaster 7 Jan, 2015 @ 8:02am
Excellent chamber, Andi! I got stuck in just about every room. I really had to puzzle over every step, and that made for a most satisfying experience. The most confusing part for me was the button in the third room-- I didn't know it would trigger something long-term, so I spent a long time trying to reason how I was going to get the cube in there. I never did see the CC, though--have to look again, I guess.

I enjoyed this immensely, and I can't wait to see the rest of the RC maps. Thumbs up and favorited!
GBMusicMaster 6 Jan, 2015 @ 5:36pm
I second stormsend's comment--love it so far, but have to come back later.
stormsend 6 Jan, 2015 @ 3:45pm
I've been enjoying this one for a little while but I'm in need of some sleep. I've been in the exit chamber but I haven't seen the CC. I'll play again tomorrow. Good puzzle.
