Embah's maps are similar in that they are small and look simple but aren't.
Here is one I made that didn't get much attention when it was released but I was kind of proud of at the time. It was my attempt at making an underground type of map using only the in-game map editor. Yeah, there is a little walking involved but ... anyway, I'd be curious what your take on it is.
