re: intro room - I only meant that the move you are teaching in the intro is kind of annoying. :D I wasn't saying you should teach anything else. only that is kind of finicky and if someone doesn't 'get it' they might give up on your good map before they've even started. whereas, someone who is attempting to do the same move at the very end will likely persevere. just my personal opinion :)

I think that is how I did it, yes.

Ah, i get it now. You take the non-heart cube to the other side by hand from the flip panel portal instead of destroying it. Am i correct?

I've thought about explaining what I did or where I put which cubes. The most efficient thing I could do is upload a video? :-/

"Still, i didnt quite get how you managed to get the both cubes to the other side after you carried heart cube to the horizontal lift side."

You are right. There are no forced, strict movements until the very end. My solution might have looked like the exact one solution but there are other ways to achieve what i did. No timings at all actually. Still, i didnt quite get how you managed to get the both cubes to the other side after you carried heart cube to the horizontal lift side. Regarding your intro room perspective, if you mean i should teach the players to crush to cubes to be able to move forward, this is a very known move i think and adding an intro room for that didn't look necessary. Intro room was added for the very last move, which might confuse some players on the end move, some people might think doing this would be unintended , so i added, i missed the point why that wouldn't do any favours, maybe you found a way to skip the last move with your described solution below?

i think the solve was much the same... enable the funnel by blocking the laser with the heart cube on the horizontal lift side. go back to the other side. set portals for usual travel, drop cube into funnel - it will be fizzled repeatedly. player drops into funnel, travels to the other side, steps on the button allowing the cube to travel through and not be fizzled. cube can be positioned on button etc...

tbh, i don't think the intro room you added to the map does it any favours. you might want to teach something to the player that is required later, but that <spoiler> moment can be incredibly RNG and might just prevent players from going further. whereas, at the end they might put up with it

i watched your solution video. fyi, there were some differences between it and my play-through beginning at 2:00. some of the earlier differences were things which only saved you time. after 2:00 you funnel the non-heart cube over to where the heart-cube spawns then drop it into the path of the horizontal lift in order to crush it. i didn't do that at all. rather than position the heart cube earlier to block the vertical laser which activates the horizontal lift, i carried the heart cube all the way over to the horizontal lift side, such that both cubes were on that side (both above the green field), then put the heart cube on the button which activates the flip panel. i then used portals to drop the non-heart cube through to the other side (it's starting location). after that, i think the solve was much the same...?

Great job solving it. Thanks for playing.

i just solved it, but only after you said to look at the screenshot. :D once I saw that i was reminded of the use of a flip panel in one of my maps. took a few tries to get the cube to be knocked onto the faith plate anyway, that was fun!

The intended solution is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaRujf_N7AA

Hmm, if you can still work your way around unintended methods maybe i should try to make the layout more strict.

Of course, i can post a solution video. From your writings i can see that you did a lot, just you dont need to get the pink cube on the button which raises the ramp. You can see a move from the map screenshots that directly gives the hint. That way you can get the pink cube to the other side. if you still cant make it you can watch the solution video that i am going to upload.
paulaus333 16 Oct @ 9:42am
if i could switch the cubes, so that the pink heart cube was on the button raising the ramp, i could solve it. but can't see it.. :-(
paulaus333 16 Oct @ 9:38am
any chance you could post a solution video, so i can see the correct ending?
paulaus333 16 Oct @ 9:34am
hey, i found the use for the button that lowers the yellow fizzler. also, managed to get a cube onto the button which raises the ramp. can't for the life of me see the intended way of getting the cube still on the horizontal lift side back to the other side or down the bottom... i gave up on it

regret to inform you that it is still possible to smuggle a cube over the green fizzler using side ledges :D so i did it unintended again
paulaus333 16 Oct @ 5:10am
you took my side ledges away :( lol, now it will be trickier

If i understood you correctly, this update i made might fix it.
paulaus333 16 Oct @ 4:43am
i'll try to explain. i think i did things the proper way up to a point. I found a way to get the second cube (the one near the horizontal lift / faith plate) over to the other side where the first cube drops. i was standing on the faith plate side, with the first cube at hand. however, i was able to jump with the cube in hand, towards the red killer field, placing the cube there on top of the green field, then i went below the green field, grabbed the cube from below and jumped to move it even further and closer to the ledge at the side. then i dropped down, went back to the other side, then used the side ledge to get to cube. picked it up and took it back to where the second cube was sitting. dropped them both down, put them on the buttons, exit. i hope that makes sense!

This should be unintended. Would you describe how you made the shortcut so maybe i can fix it?
paulaus333 16 Oct @ 4:26am
i finished it, but it felt like i cheated. i did not use the button which lowers the yellow fizzler at all, is that allowed? :-/ seemed like i should have used the funnel to move a cube underneath the green fizzler and then put it on the button, which raises the ramp. but i found a shortcut... it was still quite tough though
