Right, the main reason for Ptooie being able to hit around more closer to gordo was mainly to give it a flaw but also a new use case. As it can be very good for Plant himself to hit it around, but it can also just as easily be turned against him. The parrying thing is very true though, I could maybe make Ptooie not spike shortly after being parried so it'll pop you up instead.

ptooie being reflected by damage is new to plant (in the smash design ptooie is closer to mii brawler's shotput than king dedede's gordo when it comes to projectiles with hitboxes and hurtboxes) which is weird, but fine, I guess. it also spikes now, which is cool but means that ptooie to cover recovery is now pretty bad actually I think (now a parry is like instant death as the parried ptooie shoots straight back down to spike at 100mph). and dair seems to have a little pogo to it on hit which is fine and good all it means is I'm gonne need to remember i have to actively hitfall in every situation to chain dair into grounded moves, but thats just pure skill issue

@Conway Appreciate it! I can fully understand the change to DTilt being weird, and I can slightly get jab (though in an upcoming patch I did buff the jab to be a lot quicker as it was very slow) but I'm curious on what's weird about Ptooie and Dair?

And I have considered something for fspecial, but as of the moment the only real difference with charge is its time, and also how strong the explosion is from when it touches BAir.

I guess now the speargrub and spiderboi plant has competition as my favourite plant now. of all the piranha plants i've looked at in the workshop, this is the one that made shooting fireballs have a good place in the moveset without breaking or replacing a move that feels pretty central to the character after its inclusion in smash. it has so many unique changes that I respect so, so much. maybe the only plant change concept I like more than the ones in this mod is a fully charged side special cloud having more use than just larger and longer lasting, like elliana cloud knockback. I just have a lot of little changes to the specials and the dtilt and jab to get used to. i will say dair and ptooie feel real weird

@cybop 9 I do agree that I could technically have chosen someone we don't really have on the workshop, and trust me my future characters totally will, but for now I wanted to properly represent my main from SSBU with some extra flair to him.

@cybop 9 in my opinion this one feels like the most faithful one on workshop, while also being highly polished and generally very fun all around haha
