I get you idea. It reminds me of how barons revolt during John I and Henry III's rule of England. But I think maybe you could change it to something like: one very powerful warlord who can secure a lot of alliances with the rest of the realm and demanding a sort of reduction or even immunity of how much their tax/levy tribute should be. I know you are trying to simulate how ambitious vassals could overthrow their liege lord and become kings themselves but historically speaking most of the time all these revolts led by powerful vassals were more inclined to secure their own benefits rather than a complete change of dynasty. And also instead of conquering everything, make these warlords secure "alliances" to those who were defeated by the war lords rather than taking away all their land. But I'm not a moder myself so perhaps it is a bit difficult to implement that. Anyway, that's my take on the mod so far, it is very good and definitely stirred up more actions in my play-through.

Hi, there's a game rule for it. Low stability events. I'm going to change it to Kingdoms or empires most likely, see if that helps. It shouldn't be that common, it's only a 0.5% chance at 30 stability with a 50% chance at 15 stability, etc. But the numbers may be to high.

I think an game rule to dictate whether the war lords should appear in either low or collapsing stages would be better. (I personally think it would be best in collapsing stage. Seeing warlords in too many realms tbh)

Obviously if you have any feedback about this warlord system, I love to hear about it in the discord server since it's still in testing phase.
Mr. Balls Johnson  [author] 18 hours ago
Ya, whenever your stability is lower than 30 there is a chance of a low stability event firing, the only one right now is warlords. This game rule is disabled by default for now cause it's in testing, but it's supposed to simulate a warlord era happening in the country, all central authority is lost. If the vassal has a high opinion of the liege, they will give up being a warlord/choose not to be one.

Is it normal to have multiple warlords to spawn at the same time? I see 3 or 4 vassals got this trait and start invading their neighbors all at once.

This mod doesn't touch opinions, don't see any reason it won't appear, check your other mods. Works fine for me.

Offensive war debuff is not appearing at all - not sure if that is intended? Great mod btw.

Their income and strength scale with the country they plan to invade
Scalysnow 3 Sep @ 12:37am
The adventures goes around with 200k on them earning 1k every month out of no where. Im not sure if i have other mods that conflicts with this mod, but its still pretty funny seeing Bizantium getting invaded by claiments all the time.

@jrooks iv been using it with after the end and i don't see any problems yet
Mr. Balls Johnson  [author] 2 Sep @ 1:11pm
Don't see any reason it won't
Jrookus 2 Sep @ 12:30pm
Does this work with After the End?

Honestly it would be very difficult to implement successfully due to how many variables one most account for, it might even make the AI dumber as not marrying off their female dynasty members can lead to a lack of alliances.
FDM 31 Aug @ 7:27pm
no mr.balls the in game matrilineal rules didn't do a great job of marrying their female heir matrilineally, female rulers yes, female heir to titles no

Wrong link for discord server, this is the discord link discord.gg/YTRT59VhMu

Funny Purple Suit Man 31 Aug @ 5:51pm
How is this with LOTR?
Mr. Balls Johnson  [author] 31 Aug @ 1:29pm
My secret update is finally released, it's disabled by default cause there's only one for now but it's a warlord event where a realm with low enough stability can have a chance of becoming total anarchy with warlords fighting each other across the realm. Also I decided to make a discord for this mod if anyone wants to have easier communication/bug reporting/suggestions

I wanted you to be able to see stability for other characters, so this way it’s scoped on the character screen.
Ahoyande 31 Aug @ 5:02am
MR BALLS: Great mod. You're only using the Character Page for the Stability Icon right? So many mods need that character page and it sucks that paradox developers back-tracked from CK2's modular approach. Is there any technical issue with moving the Stability icon to the bottom of the screen or off to the lower right the way Advanced Cheat Menu does its skull icon? That would hugely reduce compatibility problems.
Xherdos 31 Aug @ 4:48am
yes it's normally in the game achievable through Laws, Culture Traditions and Religious Laws
Mr. Balls Johnson  [author] 31 Aug @ 3:58am
The vanilla game already does that, no?
FDM 31 Aug @ 3:56am
thanks for the fast reply, though can you make a matrilineal mod just like female heir matrilineal marriage that makes female heir first, second, or third in line marry matrilineally
Mr. Balls Johnson  [author] 31 Aug @ 3:30am
Nope
FDM 31 Aug @ 3:29am
Great mod just asking does this mod affect ai marriages?
Mr. Balls Johnson  [author] 31 Aug @ 1:48am
Never tried it, should be fine as long as they don't touch mercenary camps
duncandonut06 31 Aug @ 12:05am
Does this work with well with Dark Ages or will i need to see for myself?
Mr. Balls Johnson  [author] 30 Aug @ 4:14pm

Just saw the update, will check later. Thanks
Mr. Balls Johnson  [author] 30 Aug @ 10:34am
Did you run 1 year and wait? I released an update
Daroya 30 Aug @ 10:33am
Tried vanilla too and it seems to be the same
Daroya 30 Aug @ 10:33am
Yes, works for all admin, but top realm leader (the only one with legitimacy in admin) it uses influence foe the calculations (or at least not legitimacy)

Sorry for the confusion
Mr. Balls Johnson  [author] 30 Aug @ 10:16am
Try now, wait a year for the stability calculations and check again.
Daroya 30 Aug @ 9:58am
I have a big mod list
Mr. Balls Johnson  [author] 30 Aug @ 9:54am
Are you able to send me your save file on the github and upload it there?
Daroya 30 Aug @ 9:48am
It's working but lowers the score of my leader (I'm full legitimacy, it seems it takes my influence instead)
Daroya 30 Aug @ 9:40am
Ho wait, it's working I think
Daroya 30 Aug @ 9:38am
But admin vassals do not have legitimacy, only the top ruler. Vanilla mechanic
Mr. Balls Johnson  [author] 30 Aug @ 9:30am
Ya it does stability calculations at the start of the year
Daroya 30 Aug @ 9:29am
Not an entire year but 7 months
Mr. Balls Johnson  [author] 30 Aug @ 9:29am
So everything works?
Daroya 30 Aug @ 9:28am
Sorry it was the current with target at 61
