Maybe try copying my mod folder to %username%\Documents\Foxy Voxel\Going Medieval\Mods, make it your own, and then try the instructions again.

I tried to generate a new map with the flat height changed as per your instructions. However, the map refuses to load

“The map simply won’t load” — if you mean you tried to load an existing save after increasing the FlatHeight value, that won’t work. I tested it by generating a new map with a higher FlatHeight, and it worked fine for me.

I figured out the forest problems, thank you. My problem is that I can't make the map more than one voxel deep. If I set the value higher than 1, the map simply won't load

@Puppy Axel: "not...make the map any deeper" — Could you clarify what you mean by “deeper”? The values we discussed before were only related to tree amount/forest density.

Just to better understand: which instructions did you follow, and could you maybe list your steps briefly?

Thank you! I the values do not seems to make the map any deeper. I have followed your instructions, but it prevents the map from loading completely

@Puppy Axel:
The amount of resources (wood) is regulated in another JSON (PlantMapResource) and is not part of this mod. The forest density, however, was actually at 0.6, but I increased it to 5% in today’s update. Existing saves will still work with the old value.

You can also adjust this value yourself:
Go to my mod folder (SteamID) → /Data/Models/MyTypes.json, open it with any editor, and search for "id": "ForestMixed". It’s part of "id": "ForestMixedStep" under "props". Just change the "terrainPercent" to whatever value you like!

How would I increase the amount of trees? There is no where near enough trees sadly

@Tim: Well, that's the basic function of this mod and I'm describing it, so you tricked yourself...

Do it yourself easily at mod-folderData/Models//MapTypes.json - flatHeight from 1 to your desired value.

You tricked me... You cant even dig down more than 1 level. Make it at least 5.
