Unfortunately you'll have to build off of the rich explorer start to have the shuttle. What I'm doing in this mod is basically just tricking Rimworld's code into not doing the check to see if the shuttle can be added via scenario parts, but I don't do anything to the check itself so the shuttle is still normally banned

Just wondering, does this add the shuttle as an option in the scenario editor? I haven't been able to see it yet but it's possible I'm blind. Would I just have to build off of the rich explorer start?

Huh, my best guess was right. The scenario editor isn't coded to use the thing's default stuff, so it was exploding due to my pre-patch xml not containing one. I'll have to make a note so I remember that in the future if I end up doing any other scenario stuff. It is interesting that your passenger shuttles are stuffable though. I failed to account for someone making a mod for that

That's good to hear. Out of curiosity, does your game list the rich explorer's shuttle as just Passenger Shuttle or as Steel Passenger Shuttle?

allright, ill give those a go and let you know if it works. if not, its fine since its only affecting the vanilla starts, not the scenarios ive made based on the shuttle start rich explorer and mechanitor. thanks for your support

It doesn't look like there's any mods using harmony patches on the scenario stuff I'm using, so I'm still not entirely sure why you're getting errors. I uploaded a patch with my best guess, but if the issue persists the only idea I have is to have steam verify file integrity, followed by forcing steam to reinstall the shuttle start mods if the issue still insists on sticking around.

I'm not getting that issue. My best guess is that one of the other mods in your list is getting confused for some reason, but I'd need a link to the full log to verify what exactly is having issues

Im encountering an error where i cant use the scenario editor on the rich explorer or mechanitor with the shuttle start. whenever i try to edit them i get the error
"Exception filling window for RimWorld.Page_ScenarioEditor: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
[Ref F74A96BE1] Duplicate stacktrace. see ref for original" pop up repeatedly.

once i removed the mods i had no more issues, best guess is whatever fix you made on the 16th of September has had some unintended consequences.

I've made a patch that makes the shuttle claimable. This could have unforeseen side effects, but I didn't personally encounter any issues when I tested it. If your shuttle isn't claimable, have steam verify file integrity and/or reinstall this mod

Looks like that's a vanilla bug I never noticed because I always end up fueling from cargo, which would be another work around. It looks like for some reason their code doesn't want to assign the faction. I'll work on getting you guys a patch that at least allows you to claim the shuttle since it is unclaimable for reasons I'm not entirely clear on

Bit of a strange bug here that is almost 100% a mod conflict. Im just posting it here in the case that someone else comes complaining.

Issue: The Shuttle seems to be in some kind of state of being unclaimed. Colonists would not refuel the shuttle automatically, nor repair it if it got damaged being attacked. Otherwise it worked as intended - it could be loaded, refuelled from cargo, flown, landed and then taken off again from other maps, on the same map, or world map tiles. Using the "Claim", "Unforbid" other such tools did not solve the issue of colonists not refuelling or repairing the shuttle.

Fix: None found.

Workaround: Spawned in another shuttle via dev-mode which worked as intended.

Pretty close to that, yes. Most people probably don't want to have to do stuff in dev mode though, so this mod gives a shuttle to the start

Oh awesome. I just added one in for this scenario a couple days ago using dev mode. I like having this as an option instead of using that.

I was tempted to try making it an arrival method, but I couldn't find a way to do that with vanilla code and I wanted to keep the mod as lightweight as possible.
