@An actual duck I'm fine with messaging, but you could also use Elona discord where it's more responsive than steam comments. Somewhere as in, any place you'd like to build upon (empty dev room, an existing map, etc) and export it afterwards

Thanks for the fast response. Is there any more detailed guides anywhere for creating zones? I don't want to trouble you with a bunch of messages. But I'm making progress on my own regardless. The only question I have is when you said create a map from somewhere, do you mean the actual location somewhere? i noticed that location has switched to being a dev room.

@An actual duck You need to use debug mode and create a map from somewhere, export it, make a Zone type in the dll, assign it in excel. Test in game with cwl zone spawn commands

In case steam doesn't auto update the mods - and likely often happen, you can verify game files integrity in steam to force update all mods. And fix potential broken files.

@Dranuv Steam doesn't force you to subscribe the requirement mod, it only prompts so.

@DK Yes, but the requirements (when you sub) need both technically. Stable has Mod Help as requirement and Mod Help has Nightly as requirement.
One of those requirements should probably be removed (or noted/pushed into the description).

For troubleshooting, in case the error persists like it did for me, you need to both verify the game files as well as delete the old mod folder to replace with the new updated one. Trying to run a save after the patch update alone will still cause it to randomize materials.

Sorry, there was a breaking change in 23.191 Nightly update and a bug appeared in the CWL code. It has been fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Found temporary solution; Download the Aug 25th version off of Skymods website, unsubscribe from this version and add the aug 25th files into your workshop folder in steam in its place. This seems to have fixed the issue for now, well...at least Farris is selling paper scrolls again instead of return scrolls made of raw meat lmao

Same. After testing it as well, Stable Whatever Loader is randomizing all materials for some reason after the latest build. This is inconvenient for things that aren't meant to be random, like currency.

After the update all the materials became randomised. I tested with only the stable whatever loader. I have gold made of straw and orens from dark matter funny enough

@DK Thanks for the help, something in the game files must not have patched properly as I was able to reactivate all my mods after doing an integrity check and no longer have the issue.

@SageVonAwesome Hello, CWL only displays the error when it happens (normally it'd be output to a log file and ignored silently), which does not mean the error is from CWL itself. This appears to be a mod you installed that affects religion/god/worship. Please check your mod list and verify the game files in steam to make sure everything is updated - also Mod Help is irrelevant here

It is worth nothing that I tested this with Mod Help both disabled and enabled and there was no difference. I'm unsure what the relationship between these mods is supposed to be since mod help says it requires (Nightly)CWL.

Running into an error after patch that prevents opening dialogs with NPCs. Disabled all mods except (Stable)CWL and started a new game, issue persists. This seems to be the corresponding location in player.log

After newest patch there is an error in a loader. Tested with the (Stable) Custom Whatever Loader as the only mode. Appears when pet/ally gets love level favor and tries to gift some item.
It completely breaks all talking options with all NPC.

I am not sure if this is the mod that adds the "Chain lightning" and "star" spells but if it is the spells wont cast or work it just pops up an error. if it is this mod i can leave the error code if not would be appreciated if pointed in the right direction.

Looks like my comment 2 hours ago got blocked by steam. The mod has been updated to 23.187 Stable, resub if steam didn't do it automatically(and sometimes it doesn't)
