I figured it out. I think there was an incompatibility with Aeromore Expansion. I took that out of my mod list and now it's working.

Hey Adam, Just make sure you create a new world with this mod enabled!

None of these are showing up in my game...

Just wondering if these universities can be used for children since it would be great to educate them early on since they can't do formal work within the fortress besides for moving stuff, flipping buttons and etc

"i have a question, is studying time still affected by skill in this mod? in the old university, a legendary dwarf studying would finish very quickly, and then at levels 20+ they study practically instantly and can get CRAZY levels very very fast, leading them to produce masterworks 100% of the time or even become practically unkillable depending on what was being studied. very game breaking."

This was indeed an issue with the old "University" mod.

Please take a look at the description in the Balance section — I’ve explained how I changed the parameters.
We’re also actively discussing balance and possible training-related crafts there, so I’d be glad to see you join the conversation!

"This mod will appear only after world generation.
It will not work with a fortress that was generated or built before installing the mod."

If the problem persists, please let me know in the bug reports!

[HARK] Mr. Viking, hello!
I reduced the number of universities in the menu, so with vanilla it fits well now.
If you have any other mods with custom workshops, I recommend opening Settings → Video and playing with the “Desired grid width for scaling” option — sometimes 185–190 works well for me.

You're right: adding your own submenus is strictly limited by the game engine, and there's no way around it.
I can’t even add workshops to the “Farms” tab — only external workshops and furnaces. That’s why all the mods feel so limited.

The workshops aren't appearing in my world even though the mods installed

Ah yes, the prestigious Urist University, boasting a vast alumni of... every dwarf who ever lived!
[HARK] Mr. Viking 21 Jul @ 10:52am
Any workaround?
Крэпкое дуло 21 Jul @ 10:19am
Unfortunately its impossible for now.

Is it possible to move the universities to another tab? My current workshop menu is too full, and I cant see all the workshops.
