Oh wow i didnt know you can do that with equipment. Like i said i love this mod and wont play without it and ima massive fan of Modular Armor mk IV lol i wish there was a plant or something on a planet that prduces tons of it. How cool would that be!

Same rarity as the rest of the mod armors. RNG does play a large part in it.
If you don't want to rely on it, "Mech Delivery" is a great mod to order stuff without being too cheaty (you can crank the cost up if you think it's too low)

Yes. The entire focus of this version is to have an updated version with a focus on backwards compatibility. The only two areas that really diverges was the corrections to size and weight of the Improved Jump Jets (to bring in line with TT specs for other mods to build mechs accurately) and the Command Console.

Yet Another Heatsink Restriction is currently not updated for new DLC. Likely won't work properly/at all

Hi! I'm reinstalling MW after 1.5 years hiatus. I'm currently upgrading most of my mods and swapping from the legacy YAEC to this version. I'm sorry if this has already been asked or if the info is readily available somewhere but, should I uninstall the old Heatsink Restriction mod? It does still have the older version of this mod listed as prereq.

Would it be possible for you to take a look at re-engineered lasers? Since I last played, which was before the last YAML update, where I used the original version of this mod, and now, they appear to have broken, or at least their descriptions have, not showing their effects against armour.

I know it's YASV that adds them, but as it works off the original YAEC I'm thinking it had a dependency there.

Yes. Same asset names so all those things will still work - though it will need to do an update with regards to the new stuff for the superheavies. It'll still run fine until then.

Known issues - soon to be fixed:
Forgot to change actuator weighting for SH stuff to reflect canon.
Need to correct an oversight with the correction to the Command Console, with regards to FCS/BC gear.
Another issue identified is the SH actuators can be installed into regular mechs (pointless, but still shouldn't happen)

It will hotswap perfectly fine in an existing save - its designed to do exactly that, asset names maintained and everything.

Cal, exactly. This is a full replacement for the old one.
That said, if you don't use anything involving superheavy mechs, you could stay on the old one if you really wanted to, at least for now
