would be cool if there were more accuracy-increasing attachments so every time I turn the mouse, the crosshair doesn't get absurdly huge (with trade-offs like having less capacity maybe?)

i'm not sure if it's the mobile accuracy or regular accuracy stat that's why moving the cursor around makes the crosshair gets huge

好吧,这个想法现在被放弃了。
昨天我摆弄了一下游戏代码,竟然成功给敌人发射了火焰子弹!
然而……游戏代码从来没想过火焰子弹是敌人用枪发射的,只有玩家才能发射,所以这些子弹不会造成伤害,也不会点燃环境。如果敌人使用它们,它们只是装饰品而已 :(

If I figure out something regarding the code of ammo, it could be possible I end up making a flamethrower even goons can carry.

Only realised it while thinking about a possibility where goons would use HDDs fire staff.

I could try but it just makes the game crash so far lol, another issue is i wanted to do minigun for everyone but after making attachments it breaks them and game crashes when they try shooting

did a whole campaign iv1 with this. Felt less like a revenge story and more like a horror film. enemies only BARELY started being a threat around last mission

Regarding grenade launcher, it already exist in 1, a mod made by spy. All you would have to do is minor tweaks for 2.

75 m would be tolerable at least. I think it could be about the sound of the silenced 9mm in the first game ('supressed, but poorly) since the fire, spreading nature, and everything else would alert everyone else anyway. Seeing footage of m2 flamer, its audible, but not like, loud crack loud, and kinda white noisish. Besides, the fire definitely makes it impossible to be discreet anyway lol

40 noise Flamethrower sound really fun. Maybe a different, much more silent version while keeping the main one loud.

It is gonna be fun to do a silently kill everyone run with a 40 noise Flamethrower

I think you misunderstand, its not the audio but the sound range being 154, while a rifle is like 90?

I think a flamer could easily settle around 40, and perhaps even thats loud, idk.

Really like the idea otherwise though

well, the issue is the thrown projectile is a flare, and this flare you see, has its own unique code that overwrites the gun shoot sound, because i had full list of flamethrower shoot sounds BUT no matter what it was always that laser like sound. So until that is figured out, sound will sadly stay, BUT I DO INTEND ON CHANGING IT OF COURSE

As for the noise, I think maybe the noise can be set very low, like 1. This may solve the noise problem.

Not QUITE sure it needs to be louder than an AK47. I imagine the fire makes it obvious enough. I imagine a sound rating of 60 or so would be fine??

I have an Attachment idea inspired from Shadow Warrior 2013:

Attachment: Flame ball launcher(no idea how to name it).

It is an Alternate fire mode. Basically, this attachment will allow you eject a fireball, instead of a long chain of flame, which will burst and expand on contact. Each Fireball will cost you 1 or 2 fuel.

As for Max ammo, I hope the max ammo when carrying different size of mags are same. I just notice that carrying a smaller canister reduce the reserve ammo I have...

So, im trying to find out why i cant expand the max ammo. As for the accuracy i could decrease it on camera movement but think of it more like, the weapon is heavy and as youre turning it takes a bit to position it, and i dont think theres a way to change the way it spews fire left and then right and then keft again, thats integrated into the code and if it is changeable, its gonna be very very hard. As for the noise i genuinely have no goddamn idea why its making that noise, if you look at the flamethrower lua its LITERALLY set to no sound, so i think its something above that that ill have to find out how to fix. But if you have attachment suggestions feel free to suggest. All i can say is there will be a backpack canister upgrade that increases the ammo to 750 but also increases the slowdown from 20% to 50%

I only have 3 suggestions. First is to increase its accuracy. When I shoot fire without aiming, the fire sometimes will "shaking" like a snake, especially when you move the mouse to aim. The Second is to increase the Ammo capacity of it, 300 or more will be suitable for creating Carnage in levels. The third is to decrease the noise a little. I personally think that a Flamethrower will be very hot, very destructive, but not very loud since it is not a gun(but I must noted that in my playthrough the Flamethrower seems less noisy than gun without the suppressor)

Okay, now I finish the whole Intravenous 2 Campaign in True Difficulty with this Weapon(and the updated attacahments), and I dare to say it is one of the best weapon mods.

It perfectly plays the role of an assault weapon. If you wanna rush, it can instantly ignite the enemies that stand on your way. If you wanna camp, it can create a fire wall that no one dare to pass. What I love is to force enemies retreat into a wooden house, then break window, shooting fire in it. Watching them desperately running around but eventually being roasted by the approaching fire is so satisfying. In some levels, you can watch fire spread very far on ground with rugs!

Definitely will raise max ammo when you use the large canister to probably 250 or 300! But next update I do for the flamethrower there will be some more attachments! I think you all will love what I plan up next for it :D

Very awesome weapon!

I find best way of using this weapon is to use it to block and corner the way of enemies, forcing them to either retreat or stand down, which can buy you time. House with wooden ground is a good battleground to create Inferno.

Also, will you consider boost the Reserve Ammo to 200? I am currently using it to play some custom map with loooots of enemies and it will be super helpful if we got more ammo.
