Gameplay wise, it's the best immersive sim type game in a top down format I've seen yet. Most importantly, the game doesn't fall into the Hitman/Splinter Cell trap where the 'correct' way of playing the game means 100% stealth with no casualties, despite the whole armoury of guns; the game practically tells you to kill everyone as one of the two protagonists and sneak with the other. Even then, you can still (mostly) decide to do 100% stealth or 100% killing sprees, if you really felt like playing only one way.

The sheer number of ways you can try to solve a mission can be very enjoyable. A direct gunfight approach is going to get you a Hotline Miami gameplay, where your tiny ammo limit mandates that you pick up guns off fallen enemies. A stealth gameplay can be like solving puzzles, since enemies become alert simply by noticing patrols are gone-- which means you need identify the enemies you can/need to remove, and which ones you can sneak past without touching them. You might even want to do a 'noisy stealth' that involves pulling fire alarms, slamming down doors to knock people out, or sprinting into 1:1 fistfights such that you alert the enemy you fight, but be quiet enough to not alert enemies in the adjacent rooms.

My only gameplay gripe is that movement can feel clunky. It feels awkward that crawling prevents multiple actions, especially shooting-- since, y'know, shooting from prone is a real thing. The transition in/out of crawling is also too slow (I'd expect sprinting alone to near-instantly end prone state) and can feel like the game is refusing to listen to you. The different move speeds don't feel like they add much to the game, especially when the visual/audio elements don't apparently indicate how loud you would be at a certain speed-- quite unlike games like Thief.

Also a nitpick, but it doesn't seem like there's a single enemy with night-vision. It's basically always advantageous to shoot out all lights (if going gunfights) or EMP the lights (if going full stealth), because no matter what, enemies being unable to see you is very helpful.
