yeah archaon gets this too all 10s turn 1, should probably fix this, otherwise great mod, although when on small unit count theres only 1 unit per detachement lol

Oh boy did I try alternate vanilla-esque script option, but I haven't gotten them to work, supposedly someone has gotten it to work, I also for a time utilized 'levy recruiting' framework but found it more trouble than worth.

Sorry, fell asleep; maybe it just starts at 10 units? They're topped off at 20 units each by turn 11 when I barely have 9 chaos furies.
Something closer to 5-10% would feel more balanced with the vanilla mechanics (as plain chaos trolls spawn at 4% lol) but I understand the need to have these immediately and consistently recruitable so I would personally be satisfied with some kind of button, switch, or other voluntary option (maybe a Gift of Chaos or building for the veneer of balance?) that causes that system to activate with a rate of 100% later in the game.

I don't know how involved it would be for you to make/import an adjustable toggle for which turn/how often they appear using MCT (perhaps using the framework of an event popup like Coin Fusion) as a catch-all for balancing, but if that isn't possible then a one-use button like Fully Randomized Start Positions or Customize Starting Units to activate this mod later would be enough of an artificial barrier.

I thought I made it one unit per turn or something, but what would be a reasonable rate? Bear in mind I am not willing to change the framework of recruiting easily as I hate fiddling around with them.

Yeah, once again I'm using the compilation with these units but I wanted to be sure this was a general issue and not one particular to the Warriors of Chaos units. The rates are 100% for 10 units every turn, from the beginning of the game, and I don't understand if that's intentional or not

I changed some stuff in the compilation version including rates, please use that only from now on, but the biggest reason for any ease or acquisition of units is due to the scripting of factions like Nurgle and CHaos Warriors recruitment.

Hey, I'm using the compilation with Vilitch--are all these units supposed to be gifted 10 at a time to the player from turn 1 or is that some sort of mod conflict? Because that seems to break the game a bit

Every unit but the doomweavers appear to be missing their torsos or legs for some reason. Is it a mod compatibility problem or something else?

anyway im probably not the right person to be discussing this as i hardly remember how he went about it and for all i know could be misremembering it so ill leave it at that for now
if you can find a way that would be really awesome but either way i thought the units were cool and i really like what you've done with them

my only feedback besides that i suppose would be that the doomweavers having cataclysm spells is maybe a bit too op even compared to the rest of the mod but otherwise it seems fine
i like what you did a lot with the kornate doomweavers though

for chaos warriors yeah
he added a ror dragon to the ror pool and added a non ror unit to the same building that allows recruitment of chaos giants if i recall correctly
my game is so heavily modded i dont really remember what is vanilla anymore though

sadly i dont have the know how to do that
a friend made a mod for me that added chaos dragons to some buildings though and i think he used table edits for that
though i dont recall what we had to do if anything to make it work alongside mods that also add entries to those same tables
i wish i could help but sadly i cannot
ill keep an eye on this mod though in case you ever do find a way to do it

i would have absolutely loved to have added this mod to my playthrough but i just cant get past the units being available from the start in the gifted pool
i really wish they were added to a high level building
preferably an existing one for compatibility reasons

Some units could use some reskin tho, i rly like the glowing eyes of vanilla ror chaos units, like aspiring champions and khorne infantry rors, maybe you could use those?

Agreed with the fella below, I find them almost like a doomstack of hero's - and sometimes it's fun to just simulate those extremely upscaled battles by ramping up AI difficulties and flinging these guys at each other. I even planned a whole campaign with friends around the concept.

But they are worth the price right? You saying their stats and price should be lowered to aspiring champion levels? As for mounts... purpose was to use many unique on foot animations, not so much of those on mounts, and I had plans of making rotknights too, and plague ogres riding toad dragons, but figured i would have to make more units for other factions too.

My income goes red only when i play khorne, ya know, lore accurate.
And the best unit of WoC is aspiring champions (with full tech progress), they are pretty damn cheap if i do say so myself, both to recruit and maintain, while your units dont even have mark of gods.
I see this everytime, modders try to balance their op units by locking them behind tall paywall, this is damaging to your own brand.
