This mod does not override funbringer btw, just the talent intentionally removing the recipe. Check to see if another mod is changing it via the description's purple text.

I think there may be an unintended side effect in that the funbringer (which the talent descriptions don't even mention is still craftable or not) no longer has a functioning banana cannon

Yeah, need to update it, been a bit busy but have a few changes on the way including a fix for that.

Now, when you reset this talent with this mod, you lose the talents you gained from graduation ceremony, but you can't take this talent again.

In the latest update the developers fixed the mind wipe of this perk,
maybe it's worth returning it to the vanilla version?

An unfortunate casualty indeed, Mind Wipe is a good concept but problematic when dumped into a system that didn't account for it.
