No, you may have mod conflicts
jevanni 6 hours ago
as well as those skills that do not develop, do not have passions, do not cause apathy, etc.
jevanni 7 hours ago
is it normal that a pawn forgets some skill faster than it is trained? the speed of "forgetting" a skill is much greater than the speed of learning. and this is the case with almost every skill in the entire colony. when I noticed this, I could not understand why this was happening.

It also says that this works with character editor, and it doesn't...
Futstub 4 Sep @ 7:45am
The taming expertise doesn't work at all. Neither increases it the taming chance, nor decreases it the attack chance.
DeathOnArrival 2 Sep @ 12:26pm
a small request for the mod's settings UI: can passion commonalities sliders be bound to something like 3 digit accuracy, and the maximum expertise drop-down be turned into a slider? and why are they like this in the first place?..
TheDirge 31 Aug @ 6:54am
Seconding the request for an option to turn off the passion types introduced in this mod. I just want the expertise system : /

Luciferium condiment does not cause any addictions

HaPpY 30 Aug @ 5:03am
That's a great solution it's working now ! :D. Im not very experienced player and im very grateful for help :D
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 29 Aug @ 7:10am
There are mods that can uncap it
HaPpY 29 Aug @ 1:31am
And it's strange because i can drill 56
HaPpY 29 Aug @ 12:38am
So skill doesn't make sense I can have 50 or without it :( but good to know thx
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 28 Aug @ 12:19pm
No
PewPewsAlote 28 Aug @ 11:35am
is there any way to edit expertise level with dev mode or another mod? I corrupted an old save so I'm using save editor to copy over my pawns but I've lost all their expertise progress and I don't know how to increase it.
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 28 Aug @ 7:37am
It is capped in vanilla
HaPpY 28 Aug @ 6:58am
Prospecting skill doesnt work at all I mean I have lvl 20 and still only 50 steel from 1 ore
望月 27 Aug @ 7:14pm
This mod will affect certain weapons with switchable ammunition modes, such as Milira's energy-based weapons, causing the mode switching function to fail to operate properly.
ReynTime 24 Aug @ 8:14pm
I have dueling on my melee Colonist but when I checked the info, the melee cooldown is still at 100%. However, my piercing Colonist does have 145% armor pen multiplier when I hover over it.

Is dueling bugged or am I missing something here?
The Nid-Ribs Special 24 Aug @ 12:12am
Is there any way to have multiple expertise unlock progressively rather than all at once?

Right now I get 15 skill, and I can expertise.
I edited it so they can have multiple expertise. But they all get experience at the same time. I'd like to unlock expertise progressively for example;
SKill 15 -> expertise -> expertise at 10 -> unlock another expertise

Currently you get to 15 and can just unlock all expertise.
Apocalypse Bird 21 Aug @ 7:16am
Is there any way to change expertise? Even with dev mode.
GeeGeeJester 20 Aug @ 8:59pm
Is there anything that help with the anima tree?
toetruckthetrain 19 Aug @ 4:06pm
does gourmet cooking work with gourmet meals from VCE?
TheManWithTheLuck 18 Aug @ 1:34am
Hey man nice mod i realy like it, but i have a problem with the Critical Passion, with mods could be harming it, i havent static Quality or madder Skills. Or is a other mechanic behind the critical thing?
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 17 Aug @ 6:15am
You have a mod conflict
Puck G. 17 Aug @ 6:02am
So even with selected expertises they just dont get exp for it. For 2 ingame years my cook who started with 15 in cooking got the feeding expertise. And is not gaining any exp. None of my colonists gain expertise xp.. even when they do their expertise job
Cafinatedzombie 17 Aug @ 5:42am
@Mold Thank you! I can't believe I never hovered over it to check which mod it's from. -___-
Blue™ 16 Aug @ 11:04pm
can we have a setting to turn on/off the newly added passions?
Mold 16 Aug @ 3:03pm
@Cafinatedzombie That's not a bug, that's a poorly explained feature from a different mod: Vanilla Expanded Royalty. What you're describing are Honors. Honors are traits you can grant only to pawns that have gained honor (i.e freeholder+), and you have to do it through the royalty menu tab.
Cafinatedzombie 16 Aug @ 9:30am
Alright so I'm having an issue with this mod that when I try to accept quests that grant me no skill decay it doesn't give me the option to choose who to accept it with so that no one gets the no skill decay. Does anyone know what might be causing this? I have a mod list with about 250 mods so I'm hoping someone has a piece of insight here so I don't have to spend god knows how long troubleshooting.
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 15 Aug @ 11:58am
If he gains Shooting experience, he gains Sharpshooting experience
I Did It 4 Teh Lulz 15 Aug @ 11:31am
How do you gain 'Sharpshooting' exp? My pawn has probably killed 50+ enemies with his charge rifle by this point, but they haven't gained even a single point of exp. All other pawns with other types of specializations are gaining exp just fine.
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 15 Aug @ 6:55am
I don't see how that could be caused by the mod itself
weaslwarrior123 15 Aug @ 6:09am
Same problem, loaded save from another computer and all expertise skills were gone.
Notable notepad 14 Aug @ 4:34pm
i added this mod on to my save and when i loaded the same save on a different device (with the mod) they had lost their skills. also maybe add setting their expertise skill with devmode, i checked on devmode and didnt find something to do that
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 13 Aug @ 8:17am
Ah, there's no way, then
Misterdino Prime 13 Aug @ 8:08am
for example, if you have lvl 15 social and you put the skill you want, just down of the main skill instantly
Social
Negotiating
what i mean is you can click in social, then displays all skills from that tree, like clicking shooting, then display a bar with all skills vinculated ot that skill
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 13 Aug @ 8:03am
I'm not sure what you mean
Misterdino Prime 10 Aug @ 3:55pm
theres some way of hide the profession? like clicking the main skill, then spawn all the secondary skills?
Miss_Torture 8 Aug @ 10:02am
Not sure if I'm just being stupid but does making armour come under the Tailoring expertise or Synthesising as there isn't a generic Smithing one :StarwhalGreen:
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 8 Aug @ 1:07am
Report things properly or don't report at all. Deleting all bug reports from comments
Random 7 Aug @ 11:29am
Damn, what this mod really needs is a big red banner "read mod options" XD
Random 7 Aug @ 11:22am
@Holo_The_Wise_Wolf there are settings for the mod. Read them. Use them.
Holo The Wise Wolf 6 Aug @ 1:36am
OOOOOH i turned that shit straight offffffffff god damn thats better my caveman berry picker was absolutely useless at picking berries for so long
Holo The Wise Wolf 6 Aug @ 1:33am
Syther of fuck took me ages wondering why my burning passion for plants was at 2% learning speed godddddd i hope there is a way to reset pawns dev mode tweaking passions didnt change his learning speed. Absolutely cooked playthrough.
MattyK 5 Aug @ 8:14am
I found out the issue with the Mining Yields. By default the game caps Mining Yield at 125%, so you have to install a mod like Un-Limited Reborn to remove that hard cap.
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 4 Aug @ 8:19am
Or maybe they should use mod options
Syther 4 Aug @ 4:49am
the explanation is not clear that a critical passion nerfs every other skills learning rate to the ground

and 2 critical passions clash heavily

more clarity than "learning speed (other skill) x25%" would help people picking up this mod know what they are getting themselves into since it feels like it should be a buff to your pawn not a nerf and in ways it is a buff, but everything else losing as a result is very heavy

I love the in-game description though, this skill is important over all else probable due to past trauma

It makes me think that one dude who has it for cooking was probable on a reality tv show about chefs before he crash landed on my colony
Sarg Bjornson  [author] 3 Aug @ 1:13am
Use mod options
