okay AI is for sure better, just had a 70 min battle against heroic AI, and almost lost with 5 points left in the team, but pulled it back for the win.

Daxz_Mindnight, there is no "100% accurate artillery" in this mod. AI doesn't cheat - all units have the exact same stats as the player ones.

Okay, I'll keep this review short, because I'm literally quite frustrated by the fact that you've included such absurd mechanics as increased AirRaids, which can appear multiple times in a single defense and attack game in Conquest mode. And look, you know ... I'm going to spit in your face because no one has fun when the AI brings out 100% accurate artillery and destroys almost all or all of your limited and not-so-great army. So, with all due respect, fuck you.

But on a more positive note i had one of the best experinces of all time with your 3.3 HF Mod
in my first 200 Hours of GOH playtime :-) it was at least playing against a Ai Opponent a really challenging and quite rewarding time. I will never forget one Conquest battle as Germans (i only play as Germans for non disclosed private reasons) and i had to defend on a Map with a slightly elevated hill with a huge entrenched fortified position and a small town NW of it i think i dont remember the name of the map but you will. After a onslaught of almost 2 realtime Hours that Russians tried and sometime breaching my defense but i managed to hold the position i still had then to split up small infantry teams to find and take out the enemys well placed AT and early Artillery pieces one by one, because they did keep me away from reaching my Tanks to repair them...that was engaging Strategy at its peak ;-)

AllCarpAreBeautiful, as per advice to get rid of planes annoyingness is to get a mobile AA and chase down the plane while it's flying on the map, so you get more time to shoot it down.
Multiple planes in the first place were added because when it's only a singular plane per battle, you could easily kill it and convert your AA to ultimate infantry shredders knowing well it's not coming back.
Multiple planes per battle means you constantly have to keep in mind to have your AA ready to fulfil it's duty and adds a bit to the whole anti-air gameplay layer.
Though after allat, I'd consider giving a limit to AI planes so that none can be spawned after some time.

@Horten Thank you it was that simple and i totally understand your point , thats why i stated in my first post that if this is what you had as a vision for your mod you should keep it as is :-) It's your vision of how the Game should play out and i'm all in for it if it's that way. I absolutly know from personal experience as a modder how annoying people can be if they don't like what i did a certain way...they can be as annoying as those pesky planes xD thanks again greetings Torsten

AllCarpAreBeautiful, I test everything myself, so if I find something cheating, hard to counter or annoying I will just not add it, as simple as that.
dcg_script.mi is the main Conquest mission script, everything regarding planes is there as well

A its a problem of a Average Conquest Player ? Okay i'm all for a respectful Conversation especially wile i'm also a Modder for over 26 Years (mostly the Total War Games but also TES Games) but your are not into the position to call me anything because you are the Mod Creator. I played hardcore Militarygrade Strategy Simulations known as the CM or Combat Mission titles long before you were probably even born (they are also used by the military) so keep it to yourself. Your are not a Master of Strategy games or anything like that, you created what every Dev would do if he is not capable of creating a smart Ki / Ai ...a simple unhinged Script spawn of cheat planes for the Ki to keep the Player(s) busy or annoyed ;-) it's up to them to decide which one it is. And i never wanted or asked you to remove them i simply asked for a solution to deactivate them for myself thats what a respectful person would do to a fellow modder or not?

AllCarpAreBeautiful, they spawn constantly by the script. It takes extra luck or extra exaggeration to get 9 of them since the minimum delay is 660 seconds. I may increase the delay but don't expect me removing planes just because using AA for average conquest player is too much. Just adapt to it

@Horten i have no issue with 1, 2, 3 or even 4 are fine over a battle that lasts more then 1 1/2 hours. And i had 3 AA on the field ;-) 2 of the Sd.Kfz.10/5 2 cm and a Sd.Kfz. 7/1 2 cm Flakvierling, they killed the Planes no problem.But 9 Planes ! ? are way too much for my taste, a bulk of them came after i had won the battle, those are the critical problem.They destroy a for me critical part of the gameplayloop, the f...ing planes ruin 2 Battles that i already had won and killed veteran units. Because they spawn over and over, even 30 min. after i already had 2 Flags and the "Victory message" I simply cannot repairing things anymore without risking hours of Playtime!! Thats the reason why i want them gone. at least in my Version that i play. i dont need additional unrealistic fiction things to spawn, which shouldnt be there in the first place! I dont see a logical reason doing a "AA gun babysit". And sure thats my problem, i'm pretty sure i find a way to turn them off.

AllCarpAreBeautiful, to kill a bomber it takes literally just one 2cm or 3.7cm if you want.
If killing a plane is a big deal, it's objectively your issue - not the mod issue.

But i must say there are 100 % more Planes then ever before i had 9 bomber attack over 1 Battle and from that 5 alone after i already won which is stupidly annoying if you want too repair something and there is a Bomber
attack every 10 min. that is a 101 % fun killer. And is simply there to annoy the shit out of me and other people as it seems..but thats not really a improvement becuase it takes away the thing what made fun for myself :-( managing the after battle result and getting "beutepanzers and other stuff" so for me personally this constant bomber spawn is a " no go "at least when the battle is over it absolutly makes no sense whatsoever. Apart from my harsh words do to very annoying 3 battles that took over 4 hours the mod is almost perfect that i must admit ;-) If someone would be so kind to tell me where i can get rid of them thanks in advance.

Skarv, 3-4 planes is almost impossible if you don't have a more than an hour long battle since the delay between them is more than 10 minutes. 3.7cm Flak is ultimate plane killer, so it's an issue on your side.

Hi Horten, Patch 3.4. Day 2 Defence 3-4 Airplanes? Intended?
German 3,7 Flak can`t hit I16 even when it flyes straight to the Flak and bombed it on open field.
Got two 3,7 Flaks 800 Coins both destroyed in the first Defence Day 2.
No complaining, just want to give Feedback.

Great mod, just the Airplanes are annoying.

应剑封, SP missions aren't a focus of the mod, simply disable the mod when you play them. In Conquest, all engineers work fine afaik.

A must-have workshop mod,but because of the additional need of engineer shovel to dig many types of trench,it is not possible to use these trench in campaign.

Haha lmao, okay? I click on the unit, tell them to shoot at the plane, the aa guns track the plane, the aa guns shoot down the plane. I've done around 10 battles so far, shot down around 6-7 planes overall, I still think something should be done to make the planes less of a mess to deal with. I wouldnt find a problem with it if it was rarer, but I've faced 1-2 planes every single battle, which is why I raise the point that aa guns need *something* to make them do their job better.

Having to scatter my soldiers for plane attacks is fun, I enjoy needing to worry about planes, but planes simply take too long to destroy.

I want to like the mod, but for example the pop need from a simple US rifleman squad 16p to a US 82nd Glider troops 24p, makes it hard to justify bringing "better" infantry. The AI pulls no punches but also gets 10 times your infantry, plenty of off map artillery, air strikes and other things. This equals the playing field a lot. But the playing field isnt even close to even with the AI able to bring out 10 times your amount of troops. I do understand there needs to be difficulty. but I am often resorting to cheese myself to victory, leaving 'authentic' tactics on the shelf.

Der_Neusser, yes. Delay between them is very big though, more than 10 minutes.
