i really like your map design, feel satisfy end up building a mid-air residential area
The real issue is space, and the almost ridiculous degree of planning and rope bridging I ended up needing was unexpected. I did find it very satisfying when that 3rd layer of houses actually somehow connected to the citadel.
Overall, a good challenge but more of a base-building challenge than a combat / defensive one. The horrors were not too hard with basic barracks units, though I did end up with 4 cannons (if I recall correctly) by the 4th wave so it was pretty well trivialized.
It felt like the right amount of challenge.
