it appears this wont work with fargos mutant mod as it wont affect inferno potion or the tesla potion

Related to the "black screen" problem below – this mod might be incompatible with "Lights and Shadows" somehow, as turning either of them off fixes the issue (at least for me).

Chances are another mod is either causing an issue or is incompatible with the mod. Disable mods until the issue doesn't happen, and report the mod that caused it.

seriously tho how do i fix the whole world just turning black like even the blocks and npcs re just not visible when i run this mod

Alright, all reported invisible projectiles are fixed - and hopefully, any projectiles I don't catch for some reason should now also be visible, albeit unaffected by this mod. I can confirm all traps, explosive traps, and Terraprisma now work. Only thing to note is because of how fancy Terraprisma is, it's unaffected by the mod. Not much I can do there.

Idk if the mod is still updated but explosive traps (all tiers) is invisible regardless what setting i set. It might be only me as i didn't saw other people mention it but i'm reporting it regardless.

Alright, I switched around the own/friendly projectile settings & added an "Other" config option & now render anything that didn't fit into the pre-existing categories. I will not be able to test with Overhaul for a bit so fingers crossed that works; I wouldn't know what the issue is otherwise without being given some time.

yea I'm aware t-overhaul sidesteps a lot of vanilla systems, but you said in the case of incompatibility, it'd ignore this mod, which I took to mean "the projectiles would be 100% opaque, as in vanilla", which I can understand and deal with. here, those projectiles are 100% transparent, which is a weird interaction and makes some weapons difficult to use. well, not that anyone really likes short swords, but if spears function the same way, I can see that being annoying for spear users, as well as summoners (I haven't tested other summons, it's possible only the bird is affected).

at the very least, if there's nothing to be done, you could make note of the compatibility issues with t-overhaul in the description

@goblingamer102 Summons are projectiles. Just change the opacity of your own projectiles and you're good to go.

@Ridesdragons Overhaul uses a lot of systems and stuff to make the game look better, most of which sidestep or ignore vanilla's system.

I'll fix the swapped around labels later today.

found some wonkiness/compatibility issues. on top of own projectile and friendly projectile being backwards like pike mentioned, some things just seem to be invisible regardless of settings so long as the mod is enabled. I've started a run with Terraria Overhaul and both the shortsword and the bird summon are invisible regardless of what the other settings are set to.

can the creater put a slider to change the opacity of summons, im on my second run of terraria and am trying out calamity but while building my summons and body parts will get in the way, if you would add a slider for these it would be much appreciated tysm <3

It would seem that the "Own Projectile" and "Friendly Projectile" opacity settings are labled the other way around. Other than that seems to work great, me and my friend were looking for a mod like this for so long!

Oh, by the way - the default settings have Enemy Projectiles at 0 - i'd recommend setting the default to 1 so they aren't invisible by default.
