Absolutely love this mod. I always felt like the designer was lacking a bit, and some mods like Black Ice come with too much in one way or another that over complicate the whole thing. Now I feel like there's something missing when disabling this mod. It makes tanks feel fun to design, and you can make some pretty powerful vehicles with this without it feeling like mindless micro added to the game.

That being said I've noticed a significant bug or design oversight. All light tanks at the start of the game start with the radio module in the wrong slot, rendering the initial tank unusable even if already being produced. While it is easy to fix in game, just by earning xp and changing the module while playing, I can't say the AI is so keen to do so. I've also noticed that the AI won't really opt to build any light tanks, and aims only for mediums. But I haven't done enough testing to see if that's just the ai or related to this mod. Either way, still very happy with this!

Can you Make this compatible with Kaiserreich somehow? Because as of right now whenever you try to play with both mods active it messes with the focus tree of some nations like germany.

For whatever reason the guns and ammunition don't show up in the research tab. first I noticed this in Kaiserreich, which doesn't change the base tech tree I think, but it is also there when I load up only that mod on vanilla. Not only that, adding the plane and boat overhauls don't fix it, and they have the modules still.

Thx for this cool mod, but there is a R56 submod bug, that overrides the mobile warfare tech tree with generic stuff.

just suggestion more upgrade for tanks... module like night vision, special project, more mecha.. but its very hard to cording and spend much time.

I hope you can further develop this great mode when you have time!

There is a compatch that makes [Rt56] Overhaul Mod Compatch compatible with the Industrial Expansion: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3420865941
It does not work if you are planning on only using this mod without the two other Overhaul mods though, and I am not planning on making a seperate compatch for each of the mods (or any combination thereof)

Absolutely LOVE these three mods, thank you very much. I also like the Infantry Equipment Designer, which actually seems to mostly work with yours, so long as the Armored Car and Mechanized designers are not activated... Is there any reasonable way that they could be made fully compatible with each other so I can have maximum designer goodness? If not, it's still a fantastic collection of mods!

If you are interested in cheaper, more effective tanks and changes to the Land doctrine, you should be able to use this mod for those purposes.

Paradox made sure that you can`t easily access DLC content without paying, even through mods. There are other features in the mod that can be experienced without NSB, but the main selling point is gone.
If you do decide to spend extra money, in my opinion NSB is one of the best DLCs

Alright, I made a Version that should fix most issues with using these two mods in unison. It's not listed because I am not very confident in my ability to keep it up to date together with the two Versions that are currently available. You can find it here. As far as I can tell, most of the issues seem to be graphics-related in the resource tab. Those issues could be fixed by changing some graphics files and adjusting the trade window to accomodate one extra resource. If you have some experience with modifying the graphics of Hoi4, you could definetively make some changes yourself.

First of all, no feedback is unsolicited. I am the only developer and only code in my free time so any feedback, especially test results, is greatly appreciated. Second, I will look into these issues but some of them may not be fixable. Reordering mods, as far as I know, is still broken and does nothing. If nothing else works, it would be pretty easy to compress a land, navy and air designer mod into one fully functional mod, but that would be far from the ideal solution.

Unsolicited Feedback: I tried running this with Vanilla Navy Rework and Improved Air Designer (amongst some others). The research pages for naval ships and support are messed up when I run this mod, although the one for aircraft is perfectly fine. Though the resources look a bit screwed up too. I have tried reordering and I am no expert. Otherwise the mood looks very interesting, just trying to get a land based one, aircraft one and a navy one to all work together is a pain! Thanks for this mod, I look forward to updates.

That I could and most likely will do, but retaining some form of simplicity and abstraction so that not only tank nerds understand what they are doing is also important to me. There are some excellent mods out there that go further into details, like Black Ice or Expanded Equipment Designers which I highly recommend you check out if historical accuracy or mechanical complexity are the things you seek.
