I also am jumping from stuff to stuff idk im trying to use workshop stuff to make my idea a lot more faster to achieve. I might raise Keith's hp to 300 idk still thinking on it. I hope you make the infection thing soon lol It would make so much sense but of course I need to buff him a bit more to balance all of the stuff.
For example I found a great zoo map but it is survival, would be amazing to make it be a (survive for 5 minutes and a helicopter will save you) kinda thing, idkk I can tell you more if you wanna hear, i might post my idea on reddit too

I would like to help you out one day but for now I can't really promise anything. I'm constantly jumping from project to project and I do have my own big ideas too which I'm currently developing.
But yeah, I could make an standalone script of this mutation without anything extra because I do have the test script, which, funny enought it is an standalone script xd
And about the last part. I think you are looking for a mod which only makes you restart a chapter if you die completely instead of just being down as you are a solo survivor, as I understood.
And I do know a mod for that. Let me look for it.
Would be really nice to have both infection and solo gameplay work together.
And this may be kinda random but do you know any mod that can make my solo player not die when he is fallen(incap was the word i think?)? I got a self get up mod but since he just dies I cant really use it.
And about the Chargers. They are disabled due to some issues with the way they can infect you not being so consistent. So maybe I will be able to make them into the game again on a newer version.

If you want to use this on a collection then I suggest you wait until I remake this mutation into a better version and I release the mutation script as a standalone add-on.
Normally my mutations are not suitable for collections or a lot of scripts, specially this one with health scripts. But if you are not experiencing much troubles then you can keep up.
People said in this you have no chargers do you have a version with chargers?, my collection wont have any problems with them.
Also adrenaline seemingly cured my character? But also there were blur effects on my screen and I believe he got slower even though he had like 180 hp.
Well, other than having the add-on enabled that's it. But that's a weird issue.

Although I never seen or heard any doing so. But yes, they have some damage properties which are a little inconsistent the way they "infect" you. So I decided to remove them that way because some maps still spawn Chargers even if the Director is modified to not do so.
I think I might have a good strategy to do that. I'll try it hehe
Also, I was thinking on adding a custom vocalizer script so survivors react to their infection rate accordingly without me having to add any indicator, and that allows me to avoid breaking the immersion :3
Although it may take some time, I'm working on other projects for the workshop hehe
They are basically Infection's own difficulty selectors. So you can be playing on Expert but having the Infection on Seme-Immune (Easy).
Each layer of Infection's difficulty will make it more easily for players to reach 100% infection rate, which will kill 'em if reached.
So yeah, the more layers of difficulty, more careful the players needs to be in order to be able to make it far into the level.
You just lose control as always by dying but you get replaced by a special if died in certain conditions. Sadly I can not make players control the specials cuz that breaks coop a little bit, like Tank spawns.

I wanted to make something new using the infection concept as nobody seemed to use it before. I only saw one guy did it but as far as I saw it doesn't has much to do with infection, it's more like an illess, although I recomend to check that out too to see the differences :3
And about the other thing you said, this is intended to be played on a 4 player team with bots or humans. But that is a cool idea too, I'll keep that in mind :3
