also @ThreeX, I have noticed the same. perhaps the game build or this mod has a memory leak. increased the game's ram usage to 14GB and it still maxes that out after some time around in LV. after reaching the max the game freezes unable to find more spare ram allocation.
Not sure if it's gonna help you, but check your mod to make sure it's not old. Just found out for whatever reason steam decided to not update this mod since like back in March. Updated it and it's fixed a lot of the issues I was experiencing with it. No more zombie balls, no more freezing.
Only "issue" I just had was one of the dudes died and went flying through the air but I think that's the whole ragdoll thing being goofy.
Try using this mod along side it, seems to do the same to the bandits in week one for me at least
Worse Zombie loot condition

Also you could use the bandit creator, link in the description, and lower their ammo count and remove traits because apparently that gives them extra goodies depending on what traits they have.
At night, the zombies travel faster, sprinting when they see or hear something.
I'd started out in the country, so I had to limp down some long roads, checking houses and barns as I went.
No car, no friend, just a hammer for zombies and one magazine with my M-9 for bandits.
Finally finding the tweezers I needed to clear the bullets was such an amazing experience.
This mod has added so much depth to survival in singleplayer.
Thank you.
how do i counter this?
i would like to create my own clans, but it's a bit of a pain because i have to individually remove every bandit from each clan for the clan to disappear.
