HI, there's a persistent error with Purchase traits system, I think it says it has something to do with the kill count, is there a way to fix this? Is the error harmless or are thes two mods incompatible? I found out that loading the game first without the kill count mod and reactivating it fixes this problem temporalily, I died and started a new character and the error poped out

Thx for your hard work!

There's 2 quite serious bugs:
1. Zombies spawn into textures or often freeze.
2. Sometimes newly appeared raiders turn into zombies when you see them for the first time.

The zombies and bandits freeze from time to time, and I see some zombies curled up into a ball on the floor!

mod doesnt download anymore. says 3268487204 workshop id doesnt exist. LOG : General , 1755522913625> 684,853,193> Workshop: item state DownloadPending -> Fail ID=3268487204
Fix: You have entered Steam Workshop IDs that do not exist. You will need to check that you have entered the correct ID.

Does anyone know how to turn off the music that the week one mod adds? I can't find an option within the settings to disable it. If it's something I have to do manually, would anyone be willing to tell me the files I need to delete to get rid of the main menu music and the cues that play during scheduled events? Thanks in advance

Bandits spawn on rooftops and stay there for a while until they fall. When they fall, one of three things happens:

They just get back up and keep fighting like normal.

They don't get up for a long time and turn into a regular zombie.

They don't get up, become immortal, and can attack and kill the player. Only zombies or another bandits can kill them

I should have included this in my last post. I guess what I am looking for is more to see the bandits out in the world, even frequently if possible, but not attacking my based every five minutes lmao.

First, I want to thank you for this excellent mod, I use it all the time. My only suggestion is to make an option in the Bandit Creator or the sandbox settings, if possible, for bandits to not attack the player's base, or change the rate at which they do, and also make it to where they can't kill animals.

If anyone knows if there's a way to do this already, please let me know!

@aleczaender you have to kill the occupant and they will fall out. try to open the door and beat the driver location. you will hear npc pain sounds and eventually they will fall out dead

I had to give up Bandits in B42 because of the zombies breaking, but B41 works great.

Sometimes the bandits will transfer to zombie immediately right after I found them, and it happen more and more at the middle of the game

These bugs have all existed for a long time and are, as far as I'm aware, impossible for Slayer to fix.

@Mad Scientist Agreed. I hope the Bandits mod gets some updates and attention. Lots of cases with walking zombies suddenly freezing or alive zombies stuck as a blob of textures on the ground until you approach them.

We play on dedicated server with friends on Apocalypse preset and x2 zombie population multiplier. Zombie behaviour is in accordance with this preset (fast shamblers). I tried to test suvivability of bandits (just spawned them several times in random locations in a city), and every time their AI was not responsive or aware enogh to make them survive even something like 10 zombies closing in. Sometimes bandits even fuck up easy 1v1 fight with zombies, carelessly attacking with bare hands instead of breaking away and pulling out a knife. My fear is beacause of that most of the time bandits would just die before reaching me. Also it looks like they spawn with unloaded firearms and have to load it first before use, and it can also cost the life.

Since you disabled the comments in Week One: the spawns in the military base appear to be messed up. Even with reduced spawn rates, the game will spawn 20 soldiers, tightly packed in one tiny room. Perhaps the way the NPCs spawn is inherently flawed. The bottom level of the base tends to be flooded with an insane quantity of random bandits when they really shouldn't be there. its weird to break through the secure doors only to be met with 30 randos with handguns.

NPCs are also capable of shooting through walls and doors, which is pretty terrible.

I have had two months break from this game because Bandits was so bugged. Freezing zombies when hit, sombies idle in a pile of "clothes" until agroed, and the crashes when you damage every one out of three bandits. Can we expect any of these to be fixed soon? Can anyone help the modder? I bet it's on github and can be forked. =)

When you go to the event where the bandits are, and you start hitting zombies, they freeze just like the NPCs.

After bandits are killed the food they're carrying always seems to be rotten. In most cases the food should be either fresh or stale... hope this gets fixed.

I'm not entirely sure that CPU thing is this mod, though, I recreated the problem with no mods and when I allocated more RAM to the game the problem went away.

Yes!! and I've been experiencing performance issues since the recent game update. I haven't checked, but it seems like there's a lot of CPU usage causing freezes and stutters. I don't understand what's happening or how to fix it. I have a good PC. (I hope the translator translated it correctly, I don't know much English).

Curious if others have had stability luck with KEE and bandits mixed together. Could possibly be a load order issue. I'm on b42 Windows. Definitely KEE could be the issue and I could try a run without it to see if the problem persists. that would at least eliminate that obvious one.

The KEE mod may be the culprit, having multiple NPC related mods in the game can cause a bunch of different problems.
