Hooray! Glad that resolved it. For you or others who may not know this, a mod in the HarshDoorstop/Mods folder will override a mod of the same name in the Steam folder. That's why you were getting an old error.

Unfortunately I'm not sure exactly how you're getting this error. Double-checking my files in the editor shows that weapon BP has long since been replaced. If you're using the most recent version of the game and the mod, those files simply shouldn't be there and throwing an error. Is there anything in your HarshDoorstop/mods folder?

When I tried it at first yes, I removed both the old and then resubbed to the new version. Didn't help. The old mods seem to work though.

Are you also subscribed to the older versions of the Plastic Factions?

Yeah the normal factions don't work such as

@Rocky That's a bizarre error, points to something I fixed ages ago. Are you playing on the most recent version? I suggest unsubbing and resubbing and seeing if you get the same error. Try to minimize the variables by using a base game map and game mode and only using the Blue Vietnam era faction (which is where that should be). If it can replicated, then I can get to the bottom of it.

Only way I know to fix that is to unsub and resub to the mod, essentially deleting and reinstalling to verify the files.

Can you be more specific? The most common issue I've seen is missing character models, just guns riding along the ground. In that case, you just need to unsub and resub to fix the files.

I got this mod running on a windows server. Hopefully this saves you all some time if you try it.

My server was running in vanilla before trying mods.

My game is installed here: C:\Games\OHD

I crated a Mod folder here: C:\Games\OHD\HarshDoorstop\Mods

I downloaded this mod to my Mods folder so it looks like this: C:\Games\OHD\HarshDoorstop\Mods\Plastic_Faction_Overhaul

This is the .bat file I used:

I loved RTS! Still play it from time to time. There have been a lot of mods (and surprisingly few games) over the years that have gone for this aesthetic, and I've always been a sucker for them.

So awesome... I love it! Reminds me of the old army men RTS games from 3DO! also if i remember right there was a sick level in unreal tournament that took place in a huge bedroom (or was that quake.... hmmm)

@Sgt_Samples thank you for responding, I have asked over at discord FYI this is the error "but failed to resolve Plastic_Faction_Overhaul.umap" I they suggested manual unsubscribe and resubscribe, ill let you know if it works.

That map name is correct. Unfortunately I have no experience trying to run a server, so I don't know what else might be going on. Best place to ask is in the Discord.

I put PFOV_OpSizzlingCaster_AAS into my MapCycle.cfg and made it the first map but it will not load , all I get is the test_AAS map. thnx for any help
