Plastic Faction Overhaul v1.4.2

Description
The ultimate collection of Plastic Faction mods, all in one place! Featuring 4 game modes, 7 maps, 21 factions, and more than 150 weapons, this mod is perfect for those who enjoy toy-sized warfare.

War has broken out across the house, from the backyard sandbox to the bedroom floor. Play with a variety of guns from all eras of warfare; World War 1, World War 2, Vietnam, Cold War, and Modern Combat. All factions are divided into four classes that are inspired by Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Assault (rifles and ammo), Engineer (SMGs, explosives), Medic (LMG and medic bag), and Recon (snipers). Assault and Engineer classes of every faction come equipped with glowsticks or flares for use in night operations. For the purposes of the new construction system, all Engineer classes carry the Wrench for placing structures and all Assault classes carry the shovel that is used to build those structures.

Operation: Hooverville - A city of blocks under siege! (Day/Night)
Operation: Spacebar - A pair of desks has become a battlefield. (Day/Night)
Operation: Sizzling Caster - Fight for the front room under the glow of a big screen TV. (Day/Night)
Operation: Litterbox - A backyard sandbox with a variety of locales. (Day/Night/Fog)
Operation: Midnight Oil - A backyard sandbox with refineries and a port. (Work in progress) (Day/Night/Fog)
Operation: Rolling Crown - A tabletop RPG castle has been invaded! (Work in progress) (Day/Night)
PF Test Map (for quick games and testing)

Included are four custom game modes:
1) Plastic AAS, which includes a custom HUD, end-of-round music from the original Army Men games (RIP 3D0), a third-person camera, work-in-progress character and weapon customization, and the ability to check how much ammo is left in your magazine. Plastic AAS now also has the ability to turn any faction into a Plastic Faction by changing the materials on the characters and weapons! However, this system does have some limitations: it may not change optics attached to weapons, and currently does not change items like kit pickups, vehicles, or construction buildables.
2) Plastic AAS (Bloody), which has all the features of Plastic AAS, but also adds Xorberax's BloodLust for a more visceral experience. Warning: this may reduce overall performance, as decals are especially graphically taxing.
3) Plastic Skirmish, a more combat-focused game mode that is played on smaller sections of larger maps.
4) Plastic Skirmish (Bloody)

Controls:
Hold "Reload" to check magazine.
Press Spacebar while in midair to open your parachute (deploys after about 1 second).
Press the Camera Toggle button (N by default, can be changed in settings) to switch between 1st and 3rd person, and Middle Mouse button to change shoulders.
While playing as Gray, Black, or one of the Elite factions, weapons can be customized at Weapon Customization benches found in most starting bases on PF maps. Toggle lasers and lights by holding "Cycle Sights."
While playing as one of the Elite factions, characters can be customized at Lockers that can be found in most starting bases on PF maps. Players can choose from a handful of tints and camouflage patterns that can be applied to most parts of your soldier.
While playing as one of the Elite factions, press Left Control + N to enable night vision (courtesy of WarriorJ). Works in 1st and 3rd person.

Many thanks to Craz the King for help with the parachutes, Yoshi for help with the color-changing props/flags and death sounds, WarriorJ for lights/lasers/NVGs and for being an all-around badass, Serberus for the original 3rd person mod, Xorberax for the BloodLust mod, all the modders who have been patient when I've asked dumb questions, and the developers of OHD for continuing to work on this awesome game! Please support them however you can.

Updated to latest build of OHD. Shouldn't crash anymore.

Thanks for letting me know. Last update likely broke that blueprint. I've been working on other projects, but I'll try to fix that as soon as I can.

Hooray! Glad that resolved it. For you or others who may not know this, a mod in the HarshDoorstop/Mods folder will override a mod of the same name in the Steam folder. That's why you were getting an old error.
Rocky Bukkake 30 Nov, 2024 @ 2:05pm
Ah yeah there was residual old data in that folder, that fixed it. Thanks

Unfortunately I'm not sure exactly how you're getting this error. Double-checking my files in the editor shows that weapon BP has long since been replaced. If you're using the most recent version of the game and the mod, those files simply shouldn't be there and throwing an error. Is there anything in your HarshDoorstop/mods folder?
