I implemented it into my sub and everything works great, easily the best drone on the workshop.

Updated with the double click fix. Seems to be good now. Note that while in nav terminal control mode you cant double click to control the gun and thats how it is, as the way how it works has this limitation. I will have to figure out a way for both things to coexist eventually.

Seems the double click check I changed works fine on testing but is unreliable when installing in a sub. Im reverting it so it works reliable again.

Just tried out the updated drone and it's awesome, the feature that it just freezes when a diver's nearby even when it's automated was a good idea. Though, I'm not sure if it's a bug or my own incompetence, but the guns don't work. I can't toggle between move and attack modes and even if I dive out and grab the periscope on the drone I still can't fire the gun.

Upgraded diversdrone with nav terminal control and updated behaviours is done, along new version of JTAC and remapable wifi channels is all done. Publishing tomorrow

If you do put out an upgraded diver's drone I'll definitely be getting it the second I see it. I tried modifying it myself but me and logic don't mix lol I just really love having the drone follow along and be guided from navigation, so if it gets far away it's easy to recall.

That is easy to do. I will look into upgrading the divers drone that way and see what comes out.

I wasn't thinking of the JTAC system entirely for the diver's variant since, like you said, having your ship's guns shoot at you would be bad. I more meant the control aspects, like having it automatically sit at a set distance from the sub or be controllable via the navigation console. Those aspects I think would be useful on the diver drone alongside the follow mode and built-in turret.

Though having a drone pet that summons laser fire does sound very badass, might be a bit OP but there's plenty of mods that give enemies worth having a laser-summoning drone for.

a JTAC drone near a player is quite dangerous because is more about area damage than sniping.
I though of making some kind of assault drone with various heavy weapons as an upgrade of the divers drone. Adding nav terminal control and maybe some basic auto turret shotgun style should be perfectly fine. As compensation the drone should be sinkable.

If you use laser turrets with the JTAC you can have both drones merged into one, but that could be too OP I dont know. Having a drone pet follow you around with the power of summoning laser fire sounds awesome though.

I love the system, but is there any chance we can get a diver's version? I love the ability to have the drone pursue enemies and be controlled via a navigation console with set ranges, but I'd also like it to have it's own gun and be able to follow divers. A mix of the various drones if you will. I'm terrible with logic so no clue if it'd even be possible, but if you ever do put out a drone like that I'll be using it day one. Keep up the good work, man!
