I also realized you're the creator for the basic medicine mod, thanks for your work
Thanks for the pointers,
I adjusted the hitpoints, added the cloth requirement and updated the mod page description to give more info.
You'd still get high values with uranium and plasteel, but not as insane as before.
I'd also suggest adding 10 or 20 cloth requirement to the crafting, since it still has straps, the flak vest also has straps and takes 30 cloth.
Only metals can be used
It's unlocked once you've researched smithing
It's produced at the smithy
Also it's way too durable, the resistance as kinda fine, a legendary steel protects for 116% sharp, 58% blunt, 78% heat.
Meanwhile a legendary flak has 180% sharp, 65% blunt, 48% heat.
Here's the kicker though, a flakvest always has a max health of 200.
This mod's vest at steel has 580 health, with uranium 725 and with plasteel 810.
It will essentially never break during combat and it will take literal ages before it breaks from apparel degradation.
For reference, a recon armor has 280 health, a marine armor has 340 health...
- Removed protection from shoulders (since flak vest got its shoulder protection removed as well) and added neck protection.
- Increased stuff effect multiplier so you will benefit more from the materials you make the vest from. (Plate armor got buffed similarly. Flak vest still remain a much better overall choice.)
CE patch remains untested, but unless CE made some changes it should work.
Please report any issues you encounter
That's probably due to the material it's made out of.
You should be able to sell it now
I recommend checking the F.A.Q of any mod page when asking about CE. To answer your question, yes, a CE patch was made, but since I don't use CE I didn't test it, if you find any issues, be sure to report them.
Happy you like it. As for your question: Sorry, but textures cost money, I don't make the art for my mods
I tried updating the mod, maybe it was accidentally the older version, if it doesn't work now, it could be a compatibility issue.
Its should be under "Offsets when equipped" is it not?
something like that but uh, cool mod. will try
Learn how to code armor in xml, pay an artist or do the art yourself and publish it. You can learn XML from guides and studying the code of the game or other mods.
I am not the original creator of those info strips, but as far as I know it should be fine if you use them, however I don't want you to use the same color palette as I did so if you want you can contact me on discord: ILuvSilicon#4374 and I can send you a Gimp file with the separate layers or the separate images of the strips. As for the Like and Favorite button, that's free on imgur, you just need the correct link.
Maybe a bold question but is it possible I can use / borrow the same art assets you use for the description? In particular the banners like the clicky sub and favorite button, contents banner, credits banner, faq banner? I hate making those and I still need to upload a bunch of mods but don't want the advertisement page to look like ass lmao. Is it possible I borrow them or is it possible you can refer to me where you got them from? Much obliged and good mod :)
