Yes actually - it should be included with "Lore-Based Mech Variants" :)
Yes, everything is correct. In fact the depreciated one shouldn't have ever required clan content after it migrated the Marauder iic to YACM. YAMM is back to focusing on YAW being the only requirement aside from YAML.
Sorry for the late reply - saw it but completely forgot to reply due to how busy things have been. That issue sounds about right and is more along an issue with YAML than the loadout itself. It handles split criticals in a very... 'different' way and as a result can sometimes cause fitment issues afterward. Usually in such cases would have to simply remove and reinsert the longtom after.
I discovered that I can fully strip him and then refit to my liking. (Never tried it before) So issue was on my end.
But (as I reported weird thing) if I take out LRM10 from left torso I can't put it back or anything in free slot. I think it's Long Tom taking more critical slots without showing it (100% sure it's the cause).
I have checked the atlas issue and the new version (this one) of YAMM has that fixed every since I took over as maintainer. There should be empty slots as the remedy was removal of ferro fiberous armour. If your atlas has ferro and accessible you still have the old YetAnotherMechlabMechs installed from the previous author. However, keep in mind that removing that one will cause that atlas to be lost to the void until the next update which makes transition seamless from the old to new.
if you do not wish to migrate at this current time and wait till next update (soon) then simply remove the ferro armour and you will have enough slots again. If not strip the mech to start it at a fresh slate.

YAMM overrides YAML. Other mods also override YAML. I started this carrer fresh with those mods couple of weeks ago. So confused. AS7-D with long tom seems to be the only one or the one of YAMM I found or bothered to refit). I also have RFL-3N with thumpers and I can change him.
This is intentional. It needs to override a couple of the files from Yet Another Mechlab.
That was an issue with the older version of YAMM before I took over as all the atlas critical slot issues have long been since resolved. Are you sure you are using this updated version and removed or unsubbed from the old one?
I have added a clarification to the description accordingly. It isn't just IA :)
"There are also some base variants added which can be immediately found in Instant Action as well as in the field and market unlike the subvariants/different loadouts which are field/market only:"
only in instant action?
