If still compatible you should at least press the blue folder button, you will avoid 95% of questions "when update"
I just cut out the side stuff so I can focus on main mods.
This one works fine until they will add new regions, in which case I will update so don't worry bud!
Thanks for all the awesome mods!
Honestly I don't remember i even touched Y values, I think it may just make the "cylinder" disappear over a certain height which can be useful for a clean zoomed out image.
Not 100% sure tho
And yes trial and error is 99% of every mod I made ahah
I think it's compatible in that they won't crash if run together but this mod makes no changes to the IEE map.
No it is not but I plan to do a old world version
it is fine to do that way but remember that when i update this mod it will overwrite yours, so make a backup.
Your mod strikes the perfect balance. Not too bright and tiresome, like the vanilla world map lighting, but not too broody and foggy, like Dynamic Weather
Sorry I am dumb and confused the mod with "dynamic world".
The mod your refer to is that who add new regions, my bad.
I think I could update to work properly with it and include new regions too, probably I'll do that alonside next major patch.
it should definitely work!
I can finally look at the map for a longer time without squinting or needing to zoom in extremely close.
Thank you lots!
In combination with the mod "[HN] Clear Skies" it feels like I can finally see again :D
Great modded fix! Thank you!
YES
They are not compatible, one must be used as an alternative of the other.
PS: the mip entry for darklands is 0.4 in the original files as opposed to 4 which was the usual. So they changed something about this particular file.
I am trying to recall, but i think it was a combination of
- height fog > reduced
- skybox mip > increased
You can find those values into each environment.group file
Replace that with another skybox and the glass tint is gone. But from what I can see you didn't change that but rather changed something else and got rid of the tint and I am intrigued. What am I missing. Thanks.
Otherwise as usual - great job man.
sorry for making false call, then. I was trying an old save and thought it was the case.
I tried launching a ROC campaign and it works fine.
Have you tried with this mod only?
