Compatible with Campaign and Battle Weather Overhaul mods?
FancyBat 6 OCT 2024 a las 3:53 a. m.
Hey the mod is great but in some regions especially lustria the blue tint is still pretty bad. Are you planning on tweaking those regions any time soon?
Traubensaft [PTS] 7 AGO 2024 a las 6:58 a. m.
Love your Work have this mod probably since it came out
Ozymandias 30 JUN 2024 a las 11:58 a. m.
How does this interact with the campaign weathers mod?

@Mazisky

If still compatible you should at least press the blue folder button, you will avoid 95% of questions "when update"
NorscanWarlord 1 MAY 2024 a las 5:13 p. m.
Mazisky, love all your mods, thanks for the work you do for the community, i hope one day we'll get the night and day cycle mod back, i know you mentioned they changed something
Mazisky  [autor] 1 MAY 2024 a las 2:45 p. m.
@Spitch

I just cut out the side stuff so I can focus on main mods.

This one works fine until they will add new regions, in which case I will update so don't worry bud!
Spitch 1 MAY 2024 a las 2:11 p. m.
I noticed many mods of yours have been abandoned. I just wanted to ask if you intend to continue support for this mod? Obviously the campaign-map has not had any additions in quite a while, so it still runs perfectly fine on my side, but I just wanted to check since it has not been updated in quite a while.

Thanks for all the awesome mods!

@Rav

Honestly I don't remember i even touched Y values, I think it may just make the "cylinder" disappear over a certain height which can be useful for a clean zoomed out image.

Not 100% sure tho

And yes trial and error is 99% of every mod I made ahah
|rav| 28 FEB 2024 a las 2:44 a. m.
Hi @mazisky sorry to bother you with a lame question but I saw you had some interesting y (height) values in the environment cylinder file and I was curious what's behind that. Is there a specific way to determine such values or is it trial and error (and isn't just a value of 0 enough). Thanks
Dragon32 5 FEB 2024 a las 11:02 a. m.
@NorscanWarlord
I think it's compatible in that they won't crash if run together but this mod makes no changes to the IEE map.
NorscanWarlord 5 FEB 2024 a las 10:47 a. m.
Anyone knows if this is compatible with IEE?
Harles 29 NOV 2023 a las 7:59 p. m.
read ur comment saying u plan to do a old world version, that would be amazing cant wait.
TheGrandSirPiggy 27 NOV 2023 a las 10:57 a. m.
Brining this to Old World would be sweet, but will you bring this awesome mod to Immortal Empires Expanded as well?! :steamhappy:
Leaf 26 NOV 2023 a las 10:07 p. m.
nvm you stated that its not. my bad
Mazisky  [autor] 15 NOV 2023 a las 6:01 a. m.
@ourg

No it is not but I plan to do a old world version
Ourg 15 NOV 2023 a las 4:50 a. m.
is the mod compatible with old worl mod ? guess not
AwwHEEEALNaw 12 NOV 2023 a las 2:26 a. m.
awesome! and thanks for making the mod, its seriously good
Mazisky  [autor] 12 NOV 2023 a las 2:10 a. m.
@thegreatwhiteKenyan

it is fine to do that way but remember that when i update this mod it will overwrite yours, so make a backup.
AwwHEEEALNaw 12 NOV 2023 a las 1:55 a. m.
hey fantastic work as always! However while I love most of the changes I really dont like how washed cathay & bretonnia are (and how thick the fog is in sylvannia), so I opened rpfm and deleted the environmental lighting changes you made to these areas. This seems to have reverted them to vanilla while keeping your other changes which is perfect for me, but is there anything I could be badly breaking by doing this?
TheGrandSirPiggy 10 NOV 2023 a las 10:01 a. m.
this and Campaign Weather Overhaul do the same thing, they are not compatible. Though, since this mod dosen't modify the IEE map and Campaign Weather Overhaul dose, you can use this on the normal IE map and Campaign Weather Overhaul on IEE
lwhのsama 10 NOV 2023 a las 7:53 a. m.
great mod:steamthumbsup:and is it compatible with “Campaign Weather Overhaul”?
Mumm-Ra 1 NOV 2023 a las 8:55 p. m.
ya everyones using the new IEE campaign map
TheGrandSirPiggy 1 NOV 2023 a las 10:49 a. m.
Glad to hear, this mod is makes the already beautiful world map even more pleasant to look at! I tried the Dynamic Weather mod that dose something similar, but that one, in the search for "realism" and lore-friendliness, sacrifices too much visibility and beauty, since most places on the world map are covered with tick fog.

Your mod strikes the perfect balance. Not too bright and tiresome, like the vanilla world map lighting, but not too broody and foggy, like Dynamic Weather
Mazisky  [autor] 18 OCT 2023 a las 1:08 p. m.
@Piggy

Sorry I am dumb and confused the mod with "dynamic world".

The mod your refer to is that who add new regions, my bad.

I think I could update to work properly with it and include new regions too, probably I'll do that alonside next major patch.
TheGrandSirPiggy 18 OCT 2023 a las 1:03 p. m.
It dose "work" as in dosen't break anything, but the lighting changes don't show up on the IEE map. Hopping to see them on there soon!
Mazisky  [autor] 16 OCT 2023 a las 12:58 p. m.
@Piggy

it should definitely work!
Thoryon 16 OCT 2023 a las 12:56 p. m.
This is not a mod. This is a fix for everyone with migraines or photosentivity.
I can finally look at the map for a longer time without squinting or needing to zoom in extremely close.
Thank you lots!
In combination with the mod "[HN] Clear Skies" it feels like I can finally see again :D
Great modded fix! Thank you!
TheGrandSirPiggy 25 SEP 2023 a las 8:45 a. m.
Works with Immortal empires Expanded, Mazisky? :steamhappy:
Mazisky  [autor] 22 SEP 2023 a las 11:16 p. m.
@sgssk

YES
sgssk 22 SEP 2023 a las 10:56 p. m.
Is it compatible with your "ultimate lighting" mod?
MR.F 11 SEP 2023 a las 3:30 p. m.
@wagabunga93bartez can't you see that it is updated?
Gleen Cross 10 JUL 2023 a las 7:43 p. m.
A shame this mod does not work with the recent weather mod, even if I load it first. The empire region in the weather mod, damn... it reminded me that joke in the Deadpool movie, when Deadpool talks about DC heroes, "it's too dark!"
SHADOW2KK 8 JUL 2023 a las 12:43 p. m.
Ok thought so, thanks for clarifying mate
Mazisky  [autor] 8 JUL 2023 a las 11:26 a. m.
@Shadow2kk

They are not compatible, one must be used as an alternative of the other.
SHADOW2KK 8 JUL 2023 a las 10:44 a. m.
Love this mod, is it compatible with Campaign Weather Overhaul however? as the author credited you with assistance.
thanatoast 19 JUN 2023 a las 10:18 a. m.
does this mod currently work? if not, does anyone know when it might be back?
|rav| 9 JUN 2023 a las 11:21 a. m.
Hi. So I saw that the darklands [chaos dwarfs area] still suffered from the glass issue when zooming out. I think I found a temp. fix. Basically you duplicate and rename the cilinders and tie them to a new darklands2 weather input. And in the original entries in env. sheet you just put the inner and outer radius to 0 and edit the new weather parameters as you please . Removing the entry entirely for some reason seems to break the game in terms of the sky (it just goes to black) - no idea why. It's just a temp. fix of course and I have no idea if it ties into battle weather since I haven't tried editing those files. Thought I might share this in case you'll update the mod in the future.

PS: the mip entry for darklands is 0.4 in the original files as opposed to 4 which was the usual. So they changed something about this particular file.
Mazisky  [autor] 3 JUN 2023 a las 3:18 a. m.
@|Rav|

I am trying to recall, but i think it was a combination of

- height fog > reduced
- skybox mip > increased

You can find those values into each environment.group file
|rav| 3 JUN 2023 a las 3:07 a. m.
To further elaborate in my testing I discovered the skybox was the culprit namely skydome_texture_file='skyboxes/tex/campaign_sky_clear_04_base_colour.dds'

Replace that with another skybox and the glass tint is gone. But from what I can see you didn't change that but rather changed something else and got rid of the tint and I am intrigued. What am I missing. Thanks.
|rav| 3 JUN 2023 a las 2:07 a. m.
If you would be so kind could you tell me what you changed to get rid of that glass effect on the fog?
Dumvlag 31 MAY 2023 a las 11:24 a. m.
My man it would be great to have Before/After screenshots on this mod page since it's pretty hard sometimes to tell the difference in game, it's crazy how many visual mods fail to highlight this in their mod page, that said great work :steamthumbsup:.
Echo 26 MAY 2023 a las 3:46 a. m.
I'd also like to see a before/after. It's really hard to judge lighting changes otherwise.
|rav| 24 MAY 2023 a las 3:06 a. m.
Hey. Tested this mod along with your awesome forestry mod . And then in a separate test I added the fog out of here mod just to remove more fog [that one was higher - closer to rank 1 - in the load order so it overwrites]. It looks better because the changes it makes don't fully overwrite your mod but it seems just the fog aspect. Give it a try and if you like the way it looks it see if it might not be a good idea to incorporate it.

Otherwise as usual - great job man.
Mustard Jelly 27 ABR 2023 a las 3:50 a. m.
@Mazisky

sorry for making false call, then. I was trying an old save and thought it was the case.
Mazisky  [autor] 26 ABR 2023 a las 11:00 p. m.
@Mustard Jelly

I tried launching a ROC campaign and it works fine.

Have you tried with this mod only?
