@chaos I know you're a dev but that's actually not true. Have never played with any mods whatsoever and on my true kin Praetorian my guy with nightvision literally started with it. Had to wish clean to remove.

You can't get CRS without mods, no, because it only triggers (some of the time) when a mutant gets a cybernetic implant. Which can't happen without mods.

@chaos I'm something of a Qud novice, and I'm probably more familiar with the wiki than I am with Qud itself, but I wasn't aware CRS was even a thing.

Is it obtainable in normal gameplay at the moment?

I'm not exactly sure what causes it, and can't seem to find any mention of it on the wiki.

I had, if I recall correctly anyway, removed isMutant=false so that Huge Man could buy mutations on creation. I had figured the function probably didn't do much besides that and maybe some dialog or quest stuff.

I'm guessing CRS is caused when a Genotype without isMutant="false" somehow has cybernetics? Is that something that can happen normally? Or is this something that is intended to happen when a True Kin with cybernetics mutates via Gamma Moth?

Either way, I'm super confused. But that is pretty typical for me, I suppose.

Also, CRS is manageable by swapping out implants for different instances of the same implant, as long as you aren't bypassing the normal unimplantation procedure (like some mods apparently do).

If you want to make sure your genotypes never get Cybernetic Rejection Syndrome, make sure they have IsMutant="false". (Can't promise that won't interfere with other stuff you're doing, but it'll disable CRS.)

@Raz Oh, my bad. I'm guessing having more cybernetics equipped than your points would allow is probably the cause of that Cybernetic Rejection Syndrome.

I was not aware that was a thing, I thought they only affected whether cybernetics could be installed at a Becoming Nook or not...

I'll look into this next time I mess with the mod.

Hey, I really love this mod, but when I used the "Unbelievable Hugeness" cybernetic, I get something called Cybernetic Rejection Syndrome which gives me debuffs to health regeneration and movement speed. How can I fix this? It is listed under active effects and it won't go away.

@chaos Thanks for the tip!

@zelosdomingo: Try adding the mutation Gigantism.

@zelosdomingo No problem bother, gotta watch out for the Huge Man.
zelosdomingo  [auteur] 5 jan 2023 om 22:36
@Brosiff I might add that if I get bored. Thanks for the idea!
zelosdomingo  [auteur] 5 jan 2023 om 22:35
@Lamb I tried to get it to make you colossal as huge man, but it wouldn't let me add my own body object for him to use for some reason. Maybe someone more familiar with Caves of Qud knows why.
Partly why I added saltback and kraken, because they are both naturally colossal.

the Unbelievable Hugeness cybernetic does have the giant hands effect that lets you use two handed weapons with one hand, though, which also lets you wield a colossal weapon two handed.
CoiledLamb 5 jan 2023 om 17:10
does this make you colossal?
Brosiff 5 jan 2023 om 6:46
I hope this evolves into one of the negative perks and its just a % chance to spawn huge man that comes to kill you like the evil twin but far better.
zelosdomingo  [auteur] 4 jan 2023 om 1:16
Didn't test it much, so let me know if stuff is borked.
Also, can't seem to get it to upload a workshop image. Such is life. :steamsad:
