@ultranova: to be fair to you, this was supposto be a mild update. Nobody expected the fire nat-imean the game to explode everything TWICE in a matter of days (Meltdown being the first time)

Man, could someone turn the phantom reactor into its own mod? I'm tired of waiting for this mod to update in order to get all of my tiny vessels back in line.

For those that want to have this mod working and willing to do a little code work (which is really easy), go to Mod location in File Explorer (...\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\799600\2879478059). In every folder that has a messed up rule file (like in the Resources Folder), just change the COMMON_EFFECTS/***DELIVER to a generic one, which you can fine in the main game folder (...\Steam\steamapps\common\Cosmoteer\Data). It will take some time, but until Ultranova updates this mod, this is the best one can do if you want to play this mod.

Walt (the game dev) has stated on the discord that the various "\sounds\originals\xxx" folders/files are a leftover remnant from the sounds-beta-testing and are more than likely to vanish in an upcoming update. He directly stated that modders should correctly update their sound-node-paths to the *new* sounds, rather than these old ones.

hey, i've seen report of players having the same issue as i did. I found a fix and it's a pain.
Basicaly with the last update they changed all the directories for the sound files for cosmoteers. now most of them are behind :

- Data\ships\terran\**weapon name**\sounds\originals\**weapon name_sound.wav** or
- Data\shoots\**bullet name**\sounds\originals\**bullet name_sound.wav**

rather than

- Data\ships\terran\**weapon name**\**weapon name_sound.wav** or
- Data\shoots\**bullet name**\**bullet name_sound.wav**

it's an easy fix but a looooong one, took me hours to do it ( i'm basicaly new at this but hey... i wanted to play that mod and continue my game !)

also the sound used for the destruction of the phantom reactor as been renamed so you can take destroyed_01 i guess

Just change "MissileDeliver" to "AmmoDeliver" in that file, and it'll stop giving THAT error. Unfortunately, that error is just the one from the first stage of loading; once it gets further along, it'll crash because some other sounds (notably laser_bolt_small_hit.wav) also no longer exist. So basically, the author's going to have to go through every weapon and figure out new sound locations.

Is it possible to make the PAC and Large PAC compatible with "Take what you need"? So far in my testing it is the only weapon that doesn't benefit from it, and it also doesn't work with Cable Age
