OH! Thank you so much @SP4RTAN - yes absolutely, I'll download the rework. I seem to be angering factions a lot lately XD

An update isn't needed. The ability to dress pawns was added in 1.6 but it works a bit differently than this mod. Right click some apparel and select "force target to wear" then select the pawn you want. You may want to install my I'm Trying To Save You! (Pawn Dressing Rework) mod which changes how the vanilla mechanic works.

Sometimes I get to host guests for a faction, and they won't dress warmer in the winter. Keep their happiness above 50%? I have to cheat and use Character Editor to put clothes on them.

I'd love to have an update. It sucks having prisoners wear whatever, I would like them to wear the Prison Jumpsuit.

Singlehandedly saved my I'll dressed colonist from extreme heat stroke. Installed mid game, remembering this mod existed, gave her appropriate clothes and she barely edged out immanent death (99% heatstroke). Ty for continuing this.
I_is_Zed 11 Sep @ 11:27pm
ahh, have to click the clothes first. Well thank you very much, and thanks for the mod!
SP4RTAN  [author] 11 Sep @ 11:16pm
Yes it was. Right click some apparel and you'll see a "force target to wear" option
I_is_Zed 11 Sep @ 11:13pm
was this actually added to the game? I can't find anything on it and can't seem to do it in game.

Yet another QoL mod for those interested: Am I Gonna Make It, Doc? (Disease Prognosis)

I later removed the ability to dress corpses from this mod because it wasn't actually intended
ElementLEGO 23 Aug @ 6:46am
Might I just add, this mod allowed corpses to be dressed, which now I have not been able to find a way to do so in 1.6

Nope, works as intended. Thanks for the mod, even though i never used it lol. o7
Dragonissa 28 Jul @ 5:32am
Sorry, the way it was added in 1.6 is so illogical compared to your mod that i couldn't for the life of it figure out how to even use the base game mechanic.

I don't think your mod needs to be updated. Just wondering now if i can dress my own colonist without them getting a mood debuff.
SP4RTAN  [author] 28 Jul @ 5:24am
@Dragonissa Really? Maybe I'll try and fix the vanilla mechanic so you can.
Iirly 27 Jul @ 11:39am
Thank you for the new mod. I was excited that dressing patients was in the game, but dumbfounded that i had to force them to wear clothing and that it gave a penalty. This mod did it SO much better.

@SP4RTAN, you, as the young people say, are the goat, dude. Thanks for taking the time to solve this little riddle.
SP4RTAN  [author] 26 Jul @ 12:30am
was way more annoying to fix than it should have been lmao

I'll leave you to your programming stuff then. *waiting eagerly like a child in a fudge-shop*
SP4RTAN  [author] 25 Jul @ 8:23pm
It does not but I'm trying to figure out a way to just remove the penalty
The Bard of Hearts 25 Jul @ 8:13pm
Lol. Funny as that is. Personally I try not to cheat the system too much (eyeballs is monolith of mods). That being said, does this mod happen to still work in 1.6 do you know? Because I'm personally happier with the way this mod handled things and would love to still be using it.
SP4RTAN  [author] 25 Jul @ 8:06pm
@The Bard of Hearts so I've been looking into this and I realized something. The devs didn't implement this feature very well lol.

The faction penalty only applies after the entire ForceTargetWear job has finished, not when any apparel is actually removed. So you can just cancel the job with esc after your pawn removes any apparel and before you put the new apparel on them and take their stuff without any penalty.
The Bard of Hearts 25 Jul @ 4:36pm
That would be awesome!!! Total points, dude! If you could do that and maybe leave a link to find it, that would rock. Thanks, if its not too early to say so.
SP4RTAN  [author] 25 Jul @ 1:43pm
Interesting. While it wouldn't make much sense to update this mod to fix that issue, maybe I can tweak the vanilla functionality to fix that issue
The Bard of Hearts 25 Jul @ 1:27pm
This actually doesn't seem entirely obsolete... In vanilla, if you dress a downed patient in some extra clothes because they are freezing to death, you loose 40 relation with that faction for "Stripping" them even though they didn't lose any clothes. Any chance this mod or another can fix this issue in 1.6?
