Wanted to update. Slight delay on the buildings mod that will go along with this one. Still having some issues with the patch thats supposed to make Chemjelly work like chemfuel.

Its currently only used for some new buildings I'm working on and some weapons, however I'm trying to get a patch to make it function with anything that uses chemfuel. I'm also working on a new mantspelopede creature to go along with the Egglayer mod that produces Chemjelly.

The Buildings will be their own mod which I should be releasing sometime next week if things go well, and the new mantspelopede creature will be sometime after that with some additions I'd like to add to the Egglayer mod... but thats still being worked on and I don't want to step on either Sig or Smiths work.

it say chem jelly is an effective fuel source, has this been implemented?

@The Viral Divinity Did some fiddling and looking into it. Because the Acid Launcher is an explosive weapon its not a valid hunting weapon. That said an update later today will include some minor changes I've made to it to bring it in line with this mod beyond just textures and slightly change its crafting requirements.

I'll take a look but the acid launcher is from the base Mantodean Insectoid Race mod not my Mantodean Simple Weapons. This mod only changes its texture to match the new weapons.

That said I'd been considering modifying it a bit to fit within this mods structure and to apply chemjelly instead of chemfuel to make it...

Acid launcher doesn't count as a ranged weapon for hunters, and also clearly not a melee weapon for brawlers since it incurs their mood penalty, seems like a bug

Whoa... wonder what happened... thats new.

This mod doesn't actually technically use anything from there so I will remove it as a requirement. I originally thought I might have to tie into some of that mod while I was starting this but didn't need to in the end.

The egglayer mod you are flagging as a pre-req seems to have been deleted.

Thanks! You were right they needed to be much less busy with details. Matching the color to the buildings main colors was also a lot better than what I had before. This fits the race and game so much better I think.

I'm not the author of the Mantodean Race mod so I can't speak to its compatibility, though it doesn't look like Sig did any sort of patch. I do see someone made a general alien race framework patch which appears to make many races using the framework compatible.

With luck its not gonna be too hard to figure out and I can get it setup soon. I'll let you know when I do or if someone else beats me to the punch here.

It's just weird that there's a patch for the mantodeans but not one for their weapons.

Went and checked it out I'd say no it is not currently compatible. I'll contact them and see what I need to do for a CE patch. I sure wouldn't mind this mod being compatible and it might be a nice learning experience to make that.

Honestly not sure. its mostly vanilla based so depending on how CE functions it may be. I don't use it myself so if anyone wants to test that out and let me know I can look into making a patch.

Hmm not sure, but the detail of the weapons seems too much and the size to small. Keep up the good work modding :)!

Thanks. I'm rather new to all of this so its a bit rough I think. I can probably shore it up a bit and fiddle with colors to make it look better in later versions. Do you have any suggestions colorwise or anything else?
