I know it's a dead horse by now but this really is a mod the devs should have made part of the game, the ability to control the generation of the world really feels like something they should have added the moment they expanded Rimworld to allow you to travel around the map

With the change in world-generation this mod will require a bit of a rework. I will look at it after Im done with the 1.6 updates.
In the meantime, you should take a look at Worldbuilder, it seems to have a lot of overlapping features and a dedicated developer.

i just discovered this one while looking for an realistic planets alternative and to see that this one at least gets an update sometime makes me really happy since realistic planets probably wont be updated as it seems

for my enjoyment of the game i really need this type of mod that makes axial tilt available because i love to play on spots where it gets crazy cold in winter with like -80C but you still get an normal summer with 25C and i could not find anything that makes this available with 1.6

Disabling Total War Mechanic on Mechanoids Faction Expanded somewhat fixes it but the random button still does not work.

Love the mod! Thank you for your efforts and keeping it updated. I wanted to suggest making it compatible with the mod World Tech Level. I've tried running them together, but am not able to select the world tech level, even with changing the load order. It would be cool to have this patched to allow it. Don't spawn any settelemets when paired with Alpha Biomes, Choose Biome Commonality and all VFE mods(14 factions enabled total).
All settings default.

the steps to follow are installing Realistic Planets and this mod, it happens each time. I have no other mods that effect this stage of rolling a new game but faction control. I dont have the rl time, to do all you asked, my play time alone is limited.

@Mlie I am on the latest version, and everything except for 3 mods that are flagged by yourself as still working, even if version numbers dont match, is up to date. Im no modding noob lol, I run a 2700 modded skyrim build haha

@DD The point of posting the log is not just to see the error. It also shows what version of the game you use, what version of the mod and other mods as well as other errors. Ive had three reports this week that could be closed due to not updated mods or the game itself.
Regarding Discord, its what makes it possible for me to support this many mods. If someone dont want to follow the steps described, chances are pretty high that their issue will remain.

Not every report of an issue requires error logs or joining a Discord server to report stuff, also not navigating Github to post feedback either. This mod is on steam and most people using it are not gonna go to Github to report anything, they come here to find answers. So i'll post here thanks.

@Mile i'm good thanks, I did my own testing for the last 2 hrs and found the problem. Removing Realistic Planets prevented this bug.

lol generating a planet leaves the Create World UI up after, so I cant actually interact with the generated world, cant close the options UI to do anything.

Can we get support for Faction Control? it kinda works but the button is in a weird place and I get some odd behavior when loading and saving templates.

@Michael, Usually happens when you have conflicting mods that all change faction spawn logic.

There's a bug, whenever i try to load a planet, the function do nothing, the planet doesn't change, no logs nothing. Tried with only harmony and this mod, still nothing.

@Sheppard That was the point I was trying to make. If the ui were to change its dimensions, it would affect all other mods that adds controls as well. The code is complex enough as it is
