2) This is an unidentified mod conflict. Your energy should not be draining to zero constantly. This should be a given, but "that's not intended".
No, there is no "switch back to vanilla lush" mod. Given the fidelity of the file structure in that case it wasn't desirable to try and spend figuring out.
If you only care about FU progression, there's an FU patch to add the slug man and cave mission. If you're running vanilla, then you can uninstall GIC to start on lush worlds again. That's all I got.
That's how you "repair" the companion. Since there's no dedicated "repair station" for them, buying them again with a "dead companion" is a lot cheaper than buying a whole new one.
One is to buy a whole new one, the other is to heal them for a lower cost.
Clarify. What do you mean "2 companions" and an "update / normal one".
Yes. You must maintain coop parity though. meaning any story content must be done at the same time with your friends else you risk desync and locking others out of some storylines.
Other than that however, you guys are all fine with the messages so long as you are civil. We don't really care that much
Honestly I was gonna not say anything about the Khurt/Soviet ranting going on, but I will at least just say this. The story of Khurt (writing & lore wise), is largely done by ME. I created the factions, created the rags they wear, and most of the lore of Khurt. Back in 3.0 Tengu & I were still trying to figure out the direction of GiC as a whole & Khurt was our testing ground & focus. There's still old lore from 3.0 that is left over & NOT CANON anymore in 4.0 Khurt. I simply ran out of time to re-write & tweak everything to the way its supposed to be in the new canon that I started coming up with earlier this year. This was made even worse by a neck injury I got in the final days of development, which rendered me bed ridden for about a week. Least to say, the story is very fractured, and the mod as a whole is still unfinished! I still need to work on changing everything & writing new lore for the factions, but that will have to happen in due time.
Also I want to apologize for clogging too
I think you massively mistook my tone but eh, whatever.
And ugh, none of us actually watch stuff like that? Not sure where you got that impression from what I said?
@Shizik
1. Yeah for sure! The command mission on Garden is supposed to be a feeler & tutorial for future iterations of the mission type. We already have plenty of ideas set in things like WWII & beyond!
2. Some things are just simply cut content that got left around.
3. It is real BUT, we made a mistake & forgot to put it anywhere... it will be put on Khurt soon like it was supposed to be.
4. It used to give you some secret bonus items, can't remember if it still does that since so much has changed since 3.0.
Also your all good dude no worries
Awesome mod, one of the best out there. And I have a couple of questions.
1. Do you plan to add more command missions? I'm a sucker for that type of gameplay.
2. While goofing around with admin, I found some crafts that are only available in admin, but even though you can obtain the necessary items to craft them, the recipe wouldn't show up.
3. Is the Dragunov real? There's an option to craft mags for it, but I did a rundown of the barracks 10 times and didn't get it. Am I looking in the wrong place or just unlucky?
4. Does the sinner dagger do anything? I killed the judge both with it and without it, and the rewards are the same.
Srry for being part of clogging.
Wanna know some eldritch knowledge?
There's a crowd people who play (or don't even play) GiC who think that there's not ENOUGH weeb shit and think all the *militaristic* stuff is dragging the mod down, on top of people who hard line hate anime things also not liking all the Touhou stuff in the mod & thus passing it off. We're not full blown weebs, and neither "Communists" or "National Socialists" like we've lovingly been called. Just some fuckin nerds who like women in pretty dresses & military history.
Which is to say, we just don't win with anyone sometimes. Is what it is.
If a lot of what you guys claim is True is True,
Then, why did the USSR Not push back against the Germans at the Start of Barb?
Not only that, why did they Never recover from WW2 Economically?
Anyways, Skovenyep odnoy, Pupsik~
Also, why are you so fixated on toilets? Like, let's assume that they didn't work. So what? It's just a toilet.
And yes, cramped and barely functioning tanks are preferable if they can still make the job done, because unlike your opponent, you can pump out hundreds of them. Who cares if your tank stops working after a month if I can simply change tanks like gloves? Plus more tanks means more manpower with heavy armor, which, consequently, means you can do more tasks that require heavy armor. Additionaly, you can concentrate more heavy armor in one place, simply overwhelming your "technologically superior" opponent before they even have a chance to use their "wunderwaffe". That is, if your claim about quality of T-34's being as bad as you sound them being are true at the first place.
The US shipped
151,000 light trucks and 200,000 Studebaker army trucks
Total: 351,000
The USSR produced
About a million GAZ-AA (At the start of the war, the Red Army had 150,000. The Army would repurpose civilian ones, but we don't know how many, so we take 150,000)
150,000 GAZ-MM
37,373 GAZ-AAA
532,311 ZIS-5/V and ZIS-6
Total: 869,684
So, the total number of trucks in the Red Army is 1,220,684.
If we try to calculate the percentage of US-made trucks used by the Red Army, we get 28.75%.
That begs the question: where did you get 60–70% from? Are you sure you know what you are talking about?
Funny thing about that Industry, it SUCKED and it wasn't even as massive as you're making it out to be.
And the points with Toilets, Soviet-Japanese Relations and STALKER is simple,
To show how BAD the USSR was, Inconsistent, Hypocritical and Only Trustworthy in it's Spy documents, and even That is a question.
And T-34s? You mean the tanks that Barely worked, Cramped ass hell, and were Basically sitting ducks? What was it, 50% made During the war came from a Tractor factory that cut More corners than . . . I don't even Have a Comparison!
Not even Mentioning how Lend-Lease made it so the Soviet Union could actually USE Trucks during the war, up to about 60-70% of Motorized Vehicles were From the U.S. in Soviet Service during the war.
And no, "look at communists in real world" is not an argument for an inconsistent writing. I also don't understand how not having modern "working toilets" is a problem for metallurgy, machine production, chemistry etc. Additionally, you don't make a second largest economy in the world and become pioneer in space technologies after surviving (and winning) WW2 with 27 mil losses and a lot of industrial/agricultural centers destroyed (thanks Reich and their death camps) by being inefficient. So, if you want proper "soviet" representation, you can, for example, include tank reinforcements during "battlefield" events, 'cause guess who was making T-34's like they were nothing.
oh and toilet paper is really dumb, its a luxury invention that isnt ever needed at all, people would have been used to either washing or using leaves like it was before the invention of toilet paper, you have a massively ruined industrial heartland (ukraine) and starving population, both due to communism being retarded and the war, of course something as pointless as cutting forests to wipe your arse wouldnt be a priority to them
But to answer quite a Few of your questions, simply put, Look Into ANY Communist nation.
From Aeroflot, to Molotov-Ribbentrop, to their Relations with the Japanese during WW2 (Yes, they were friendly with them, they arrested American Bomber crews over it), the USSR Alone fits Much of what happens at Khurto.
Hell, ever heard of "S.T.A.L.K.E.R."?
And Hell, ever looked into Communist Parties themselves? they're not really Effective unless you have someone like Kerensky at the top, and on Industrialization . . . the USSR didn't even have working toilets in General (as seen with "Royal Sovereign"), and didn't even have Toilet Paper Factories until around the 1960s.
In the end, best thing for you to do is Not to scream at a bunch of Devs for showing how Communism behaves in General.
Allying with the soviets was never possible in previous versions.
The raid on the Republic train is still available by heading left on the Shifting Wasteland (left of the overworld).
The "choice" was split apart (in 3.0 it was in the same area), but the content remains unchanged.
