@Layth36 - I actually gave it a minor patch as recently as February; I have definitely moved on to WH3 but I like to keep everything working for the WH2 diehards. I'm still happy to fix any issues that may arise. Compatibility with the mod you mention would have to come from the other author, I'm afraid; I know most of them have moved on.
For the moment you can look forward to a major new WH3 High Elf release from me and Rhox, however, coming soon.
@Tunch Khan: I would like to make more Personality mods. I'm going to wait until IE comes out and this one is ported over, though.
And I'm glad you think so, Willyum. There's a lot of cool stuff to discover in this mod, I hope you enjoy it.
It is possible a different mod is overwriting the eagle mount. Do you perhaps have a mod that adds a skill dump? Sometimes those are placed in slot 99.
I'll have to look up the name.
- Many loreful dilemmas added. Philosophers resolve a random ethical question, musicians perform, poets can choose how to complete a new poem, and more.
- Historians and Authors can write books which can be traded as useful items.
- Skills have been balanced, with some made unstackable, to encourage diversity of choices.
- The first Loremaster-only skills have been added: Blade Lord and Suppressor of Cults.
- Nobles gained the Author skill
- Mages gained the Violist (someone who plays an instrument called the "viol") and Geologist skills. Now the 8 types of mage have more significantly different skill selections available
- Various effects can change the Mood of the kingdom, or gain or lose the Favor of one of the ten Kingdoms of Ulthuan.
- Many new, custom icons for effects
As always, my hope is to avoid adding too much power to the faction with these skills, while adding customization and roleplay elements.
@Chiseanne: I can't include a randomizer, but I would be very grateful if you used the "Balance Suggestions thread" (or just commented here) to tell me which skills you feel pressured to take over and over again. In addition to balancing them, I have some tricks in mind to make skills less desirable to take repeatedly.
@gongoozler: A second request for Nagarythe... I actually haven't gotten a chance to play Alith yet, but I'll look into it.
@Hunter Q: Yeah if I get to a Dark Elf version, I want to make sure it feels very, very Dark Elf-y.
@Albedo: I don't like mods that feel too overpowered, so I am going to try to keep this one meaningful but not overwhelming.
@mano308gts: Thank you so much for the support, and the reports. I agree that some of these abilities are too easy to stack; the trouble with heroes is that you can have so many of them. I'm going to try to make some into unstackable effects later, maybe. Ah, and a "couturier" is not a courtier. A couturier makes fine clothing.
"Courtier" is not spelled 'couturier' (minor quibble),
the historian blurb is MIA (at least for life mages),
it has a minor conflict with the Bytz Expanded Heroes mod (both mods are functional, but the skills layout is messy).
STILL, 100% awesome. REALLY killing it, too, on adding interesting lore-building for the characters, even if it's also possible to min-max on %chance for things like hero actions, etc... XD
