I just subscribed to this, and in-game the description is:
"Science penalty for founding new cities on all map sizes is halved."
isn't that the other mod?

SpiderMonkey 2 Oct, 2016 @ 12:46am
do i need to go on the mode senction of the game and enable it?? because it wont show up there
Rabid Mongoose 22 Aug, 2016 @ 2:55pm
Yeah a one that doubles would be so great
sensha 9 Aug, 2016 @ 3:43pm
can i get a version that works wit CBP?
tenacity25 29 Jul, 2016 @ 3:43am
Also, I would like a version that effects ony science and happiness ; not policy costs.
AKA, theres still a penalty, but it isn't stupid. E.g. your people shouldn't be unhappy that their empire is becoming more powerful and expanding. That doesn't make ANY sense.

To the people talking about running out of city names, its SUPPOSED to start stealing them from other civs in the game, however, it might bug out if there are none left for ANYONE.

I made a version that only removed the science penalty for those interested. Just wanted to let let you know Krajzen and interested people. Credit has been given.

Thank-you

I've actually run out of names in this game before and what happened to me was that there was no city name. I had to come up with it myself.
Habernack 31 Oct, 2014 @ 12:24pm
@StormRhino In Civilization 3, if your civlization runs out of names, you found Washington 2, New York 2, Istanbul 2 and so on. I think it will work at the same way in Civ5.
ThunderWolf 23 Oct, 2014 @ 10:26pm
Does the game ever run out of names? Or did you have to consult the google machine?
DRK248 1 Sep, 2014 @ 5:51am
I chekced the XML files because policy costs were still increasing for me, and you forget to change the policy cost for duel - large. You instead repeatted unhappiness (duel - standard) and tech (large). Not to call you out, but it's a 5 second fix so I'm wondering if you even proofread before you uploaded the mod onto here.
qwertylool 11 Aug, 2014 @ 7:18pm
the picture is SO REALISTIC!
Throedoe 11 Aug, 2014 @ 2:58pm
i would assume this makes the ai aggressive since they like territory, and being able to make a shitload of cities therefore would make them angry.
lichen 3 Aug, 2014 @ 11:37am
Does it remove the penalties of wonders that cost more with each city?
Nediak 2 Aug, 2014 @ 5:16pm
does this get rid of great people costs for each city?
Lord_Weasel 26 May, 2014 @ 12:35pm
"Does this mod make the AI aggresive?
Ever since I downloaded and used this mod, it seems that the AI really likes warfare! This goes wrong when you use the order ideology, 2 happines for every monoment blows the game"

Are these true for everyone? I'd really like to know before I subscribe.
Badj 28 Apr, 2014 @ 3:08pm
So, when a social policy reduces the social policy cost from the number of cities, does that make new cities reduce the cost of social policies.

Wunis 17 Apr, 2014 @ 6:14pm
I don't see the option to activate this mod in the mod files option, and I am subscribed. I have new city penalties halved and Kazjen Buffs, if this helps
scrunt 16 Apr, 2014 @ 1:29pm
QSDAFGHJKRSFEAsdfghj I mean THIS MOD RIGHT HERE
Krajzen  [author] 16 Apr, 2014 @ 11:34am
Bard -> this mod increases AI Expansion tendency. That means they will build cities faster :P
scrunt 16 Apr, 2014 @ 9:18am
Uhhh that's NOT what I want though D:
Krajzen  [author] 16 Apr, 2014 @ 7:21am
Bard -> you can subscribe my mod 'Agressive and Expansive AI' :D
scrunt 15 Apr, 2014 @ 6:39pm
Would this also encourage the NPCs to build cities faster?
Miath 15 Apr, 2014 @ 2:56pm
City Spam aside this makes sense. A large empire shouldn't suffer for its size when in reality its size makes it mightier.
Cam The Great 14 Apr, 2014 @ 7:07pm
doesnt end culture penlty can can you make it work in vanilla and gods and kings not only bnw
Jonnemanni 29 Mar, 2014 @ 5:38am
doesn't work.
jrbois 24 Mar, 2014 @ 2:40pm
...Yet you only have 13 happiness. GG.

Anyway looks fun, I for one like to spam cities. And nice YnAEMP.
soup 24 Mar, 2014 @ 12:55pm

Dungeon boi 24 Mar, 2014 @ 10:08am
lord fedjuve makes a brilliant point, shoshone become op as hell it would be hilarious
Sporemaniak1 24 Mar, 2014 @ 4:23am
WTF?
Kaptain Kappa 22 Mar, 2014 @ 12:17pm
i just tried it, it doesnt sadly
Krajzen  [author] 22 Mar, 2014 @ 12:10pm
@KaptainKappa it probably works without BNW but I am not sure.
Kaptain Kappa 22 Mar, 2014 @ 11:55am
does this work without BnW? and if it doesnt could you make a version that will work without it?
Lord Kinval 22 Mar, 2014 @ 3:50am
this mod + shoshones = gg
S.C.Watson 21 Mar, 2014 @ 6:12pm
I have the default distance between cities to zero, so you can found a city right next to another city. This mod should be tons of fun.
roneneyal1 21 Mar, 2014 @ 6:26am
wow
B1GBLUEWHALE 20 Mar, 2014 @ 12:32am

B1GBLUEWHALE - yes.
B1GBLUEWHALE 19 Mar, 2014 @ 8:06pm
Does this apply to the AI as well?
Phlegmboyant 19 Mar, 2014 @ 12:07pm
