Worked yesterday until I touched settings, then nothing even after reinstall. Might be Linux issue.

I feel like this mod should have more options for you to customize, a problem with % based healing is that once you get like 400hp or so you pretty much can just go around mostly careless because of how much you regen, would be nice to choose between porcentage and normal healing, and also something for combat regen making so dealing and taking damage stops the regen for a time you could customize

An idea, add a cooldown timer timer option between taking damage and starting tto regenerate.
I like the idea of 1% health regen per 1 second all the way to 100% health no matter the health condition, but since you regenerate while in combat, that feels a little op, still.

It would be interesting if I had to wait 5 to 10 seconds without taking damage nor firing my wand to start regenerating. In a sense, only regenerate if out of combat.

Could be 2 separate options in the settings.
Taking Damage puts regeneration on cooldown for: X seconds
Firing wands puts regeneration on cooldown for: Y seconds

@Robby Rhombus I'll look into that when I have some free time, I think it shouldn't be too hard to do.

I wish there was a version of this that only regenerated health while you're in a holy mountain or an orb room

I'd love a version of this that makes it so you have to be "Fully Satiated" to regen health, it would make sense then.

这个是自动百分比回血,还有一个是固定数值,新手可以用来玩玩

This mod + Saving Grace = Immortality.

it worked fine for mine once the mod was turned on, it auto regen up to a % of total life then stops. I also have the level up on x amount of gold that grants extra life on level up. And when i'm higher amounts of life it continues to work up to the x % of that total life then turn off. I think default is about 2 % regen. Really made the game a lot more fun. Again thanks.

@DragunicGaming
It should be working perfectly fine, I haven't tested it with the Beta Branch, but nothing on Main should have changed since that would have broken this.
Heartman36 16 Feb, 2021 @ 6:42pm
the game should have something like this by default considering how EVERYTHING can cost you live... floors, mobs, liquids, and suicide wands.... or at least a safe area to test new wands that warn you it damaged your self. But seriously things bout the eating mechanic.... I would normally expect you eat to help regain health but NOT in this game... sorry it's only set up to cost you life... so frustrating... thanks for mod

I was wondering if it would be possible to merge this mod and the health by point mod and make them configurable in the options menu like this one is. If not that's fine, this mod is still awesome either way.

Oh sweet, didn't know this existed. Thanks for updating it and giving credit, haven't had time to update it until now.

Was just about to look into updating it until I stumbled onto this, again, good job on the mod & thanks! :)

Ok, thank you. So, it's just not my destiny to get the "Victory" in the next millennium)) I'm just too much of a loser to reach the final boss and not die for the most stupid and random reason)))

@Peni4

Enabling any mod, mine or otherwise, will disable steam achievements. You can still earn the in-game tree achievements but not for Steam. That was a decision made by Nolla.
Peni4 3 Jan, 2021 @ 5:50am
Does this mod disable achievements?
Treize Khushrenada 12 Dec, 2020 @ 2:59am
A bit of QoL for those who plan on the longer runs, basically after you exhaust the worlds supply of health that comes in many rare forms, youre boned. this mod solved that for me.

Thanks guy!

For those who might like the idea of this but want a slightly more "Noita" version of it, I just released Regen % Perk, which is this, but a Perk you have to pick up first.

Gotta throw a thank you over to VileGoo and shadowimmage for their work on "Health Containers" mod, I used that as a solid example on implementing the in-game mod menu stuff that was introduced recently! <3
digitalbarrito  [author] 30 Nov, 2020 @ 10:35am
@hyper_goob I probably won't. The way I look at it; For Satiation based Regen stuff, if I were to do it, would be a tweak to Vamperism to use stomach saturation, as vamperism's effectiveness is hampered a bit by the eating system currently.

Currently the most I'm kicking around is doing a variant of this mod that requires you to pick up a perk to get the regen effect. But I'm not too too interested in utilizing the eating mechanics to be honest.
hyper_goob 28 Nov, 2020 @ 11:08am
any regen based on saturation? i'd rather regen at 100% or more food in my belly. i'd gladly trade slower movement for greater health regen, would give a purpose to eating.
digitalbarrito  [author] 20 Nov, 2020 @ 6:08am
@Canholt I don't believe they should be regenerating with this, just the player.
Canholt 20 Nov, 2020 @ 1:14am
Enemies are regenerating too?
Cornelius Finkleton 19 Nov, 2020 @ 6:53am
ah neat ill give this a try
digitalbarrito  [author] 19 Nov, 2020 @ 6:18am
@Cruncher The main differences between this mod and the original are: 1) This mod uses percentage scaling instead of set values. 2) This mod adds a RegenStop option, allowing you to choose what % of your max HP you regen before the effect stops.
Cornelius Finkleton 19 Nov, 2020 @ 5:50am
whats exactly is different from the original (i have a small brain)
