@PandaAlbinos Hello and thanks! It's WAD for the strongholds to stick aorund, they aren't added or removed based on the struggle phases, but through other means. I had ideas for different behavior or content related to them depending on different endings but scrapped it due to time.

@Sungseon Yes, I and their devs are in regular communication so they should be compatible.

Hi, thanks again for the great(est) mod! Just wanted to bring up that, after finishing the Sicilian struggle with Latin dominion, I still have an arabic stronghold in my domain, with no clear way to get rid of it. Is that normal? Would there be a way to remove it, mechanically or even through a console command? Thanks a lot for your help! Looking forward to the Nubia pack!

@冰凌宇: I assume the issue might be because RICE adds in new cultures (?) so the anime mod would have to account for those changes, so someone would have to make a compatch.

@Shabanash PoD and RICE compatibility has always been a bit difficult to do since PoD changes a lot, I know there was a compatch for them a while back but I don't think it has been updated for a while. (This is all assuming you've tried testing with only PoD and RICE and no other mods)

@twitch.tv/hijo_del_pueblo Thanks! Unfortunately I don't have any interest in maintaining two or more drastically different versions of the mod, since there's a lot of stuff that ties in with each other. Anyone is free to give it a shot, of course, I don't mind.

I discovered that there would be conflicts between the rice and the anime character modules. The offspring resulting from the combination of ordinary people and anime characters would be automatically assigned the Akhen culture race, which would lead to the entire world becoming a single black race.

Would love some attention to Portugal and the Portuguese culture/kingdom/language. Maybe a way to change the Infanta/Infante title to “Principe” or “Princesa”.

@Birko Thanks for heads up! I think it's caused by me giving some of those cultures the same innovations at game start as some Indian cultures so they're not behind as they would be otherwise, but I forgot the game would also copy over regional specific innovations too. Will make a note to tweak that.

I noticed a minor oversight with the Pyu culture. They have innovations that should be impossible for them to have. Like Paiks and the Armored Footman that should be exclusive to Dravidian cultures.

@Millennium Oh in that case, Sicilian culture is changed to appear mainly in the peninsula of southern Italy, and not the island of Sicily per se, so that the Siculo-Arabic culture has a chance to appear and spread properly.

@Millennium It should be present at all start dates in the duchy of Sicily and is called Siculo-Arabic in-game, unless you're playing with Muslim Enhancements where it's called Siqilli. Have you tried testing with only RICE running and no other mods, not even cosmetic mods? Maybe there's another mod that's overriding RICE's settings.

hello! love your mod, honestly is a staple of my ck3 playthroughs. i started a playthrough in Sicily and everything seemed to be working correctly, but i checked the culture map mode and the Siqiliano culture doesnt exist on the map. can still select it in the ruler designer, but no counties have it as their culture. does it arise over time?

@Flapples Unfortunately CTDs can be pretty tricky to diagnose, since even vanilla itself can have random CTDs, and they're even trickier if you're running a number of mods and/or it's a long playthrough. Hi,

I play right now as Budivoj of Obotritia.
For now i achieved the aspiration requirements. At least i think it is.
Completely control the Duchy of Obotritia and Krutoj is dead (killed in captivity by the king of Denmark).
But i did not get the rewards for the aspiration.

Am i missing something?

@emeraldzon Are you using any other mods besides RICE, and does the crashing still happen when you run no other mods other than RICE, not even "minor" cosmetic mods?

@Cole Map expansion is unfortunately likely to never happen, just because it'll be an absolute compatibility nightmare (on top of being very annoying to update to new patches), and I already avoid touching any vanilla code to ensure maximum compatibility.

oh also, can you give me a list of every character with an inspiration from game start? thanks. i hope you add the actual land in greenland and vinland. it'd be my dream to actually do stuff over there besides the current arrangement with the north atlantic

maybe even the western lands, helluland, markland, and vinland. if rajas of asia was able to add like, i dont know uh. hundreds of counties, im sure you, an experienced modder, can add 15-20 something counties. being able to create a kingdom of vinland also sounds fire *it'd just be apart of the de jure from when the west is discovered* and for greenland and the western territories, id say make em de jure of scandinavia. but a decision to make iceland, greenland, and the western territories all one empire would be actually peak

@Cole: Not really sure what might be causing that, if that is an issue to begin with. None of those mods seem like something that would touch how Crusades/Jihads work. Most likely not RICE since I don't touch any vanilla code related to that. Could also be really bad RNG.

@cybrxkhan yo, in some of my recent playthroughs, the crusader kings and renewed jihad events dont really happen even when they should. even after 1100. my current mod list is

@Cole: I don't touch the code for or modify any vanilla decisions in RICE so might be another mod.

@Sir Ugu of Uugg: Yeah, it's gotten a bit of flavor here and there like the Harrying of the North but despite being probably one of the more popular areas we haven't gotten much special in Britannia.

@cybrxkhan yeah I figured you would do something different, I feel like britannia needs some love form the devs or modders as its one of the better regions in 867 yet I feel like there isnt much content to work with, a perfect area for a struggle or added cultural stuff

@cybrxkhan hey, does rice have anything that conflicts with the exalt the kingdom of mann and the isles decision? ive done 2 attempts so far, and basically the decision works, but when clicking the magic button, the rewards arent given. including the title. however, im doing another playthrough with only a few mods this time, a lot less unnecessary ones, and the mods im using if i remember correctly are

i also noticed from my findings that the decision to pick a patron god for your faith also doesnt work, as ive been playing as ivar, and when using the decision, doesnt give me the usual popup event. im assuming it might have something to do with hi, but i wouldnt know much about it... do you know any ideas please?

@Sir Ugu of Uugg: To my understanding that mod is heavily based on the Iberian Struggle, if I were to do a special struggle or situation for the British Isles I'd try to do something with a different angle.

@Javveling RICE adds a few MAAs, but it makes no modifications to any vanilla MAAs. I'm also pretty sure Janissaries aren't a RICE MAA nor are they in vanilla, that sounds like a MAA from another mod.
