Wait, I finally know what you mean: *you use no extra modules*. It may come in handy in tight locations, so I have just published an update with extra capacity for the main module.
It appears that the update hasn't been pushed by steam yet regardless of unsubbing and resubbing so I'll try when I get back home later
Like, you guys speak of "multiple stops" per station. So ... how? I mean, I can connect loading areas across streets and the like, but I can not add an actual additional stop for the same station right? If I am able to do so, could someone please somehow in detail describe how it is su[posed to be built? Thanks in advance :D
These stations can only have one stop.
If your lorry station is too far from the train station, connect them with one of the ultrathin paths, you will find them in the street fine tuning. They also work for passengers to reach a station that is a bit far off the road.
The link you sent was flagged up as suspicious by steam
Can I use the spitter you provided in the mod to do the same thing?
At least I found out what the splitter is for lol
The issue I was having was that the warehouse didn’t seem to recognise the truck stops
Trains were coming in but not unloading
When I added the vanilla stops before your stop the train unloaded
It usually works fine but I can’t work out what the problem is.
So for future reference if I want to drop stuff off I need a sort stop no storage needed.
If I want mail etc to collect I need storage.
It works great at rail cargo interchange
I noticed in your pics there are tracks. How and why is that?
Many thanks
The stock streetside station can be plopped on a road, this one instead contains a piece of road, so you may have to remove an existing piece of road to plop it.
I might make it ploppable it one day, but it's quite a lot of work.
If you don't want to destroy a long road, press shift to only bulldoze a shorter chunk. If you want finer control, install the street fine tuning (gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2021038808) , which adds the street splitter to the road construction menu. Use it to split your road into shorter chunks. Press shift and bulldoze only one chunk. Plop the lorry station in its place.
Once you have plopped the lorry station, you can decide to store some of the cargo on the pavement, or not. If not, you will need to add some storage areas, in the same way you add platforms to a train station. Otherwise, you have the choice.
I’ve had a problem with this
I was using it like the vanilla truck drop off and to pick up mail but it doesn’t seem to do that
Have I got the purpose of it wrong? I don’t understand what you are getting at when you say use the splitter.
I’m not that good at this so a video to explain would be great.
I love how I can use this as a section in a street but I do need to understand how it works better.
Would it be possible in a later version to design the sounds and possibly street lights and signs that can be switched off manually?
Placement is easier now, to the cost of less collision awareness.
This mod starts in 1925, with the tarmac roads.
