Probably because the TLS crew who added all these anims to the melee weapons forgot to finish their jobs. The knife does not have these animations to begin with. Which is probably why they won't show properly. I almost forgot that part :v

You can not fix this. It can only be fixed if the server host also has a knife with these anims. But because the people who updated the game forgot half of their WIP models, we're screwed.

TLS broke so much stuff its not even funny.

You're right, but the puzzle I'm trying to solve is why didn't my knife sequence start animation properly when playing item_extend, item_loop, item_retract, and online internet like it does in a local single-player game?

The whole process goes like this: item_extend、is directly skipped in the middle of playing item_loop item_retract animation is played again.

I've found that most of the Knife mods in the Workshop are the same and I couldn't find a better QC reference. Is the knife special because it is a hidden weapon in this game?

Why can't the online server knife start checking animations?
