Well, I don't mind.
lollus  [ophavsmand] 24. feb. kl. 7:56
Sorry I deleted you by mistake. Let's hope that the next game release has a smarter API, so we can make better constructions.
lollus  [ophavsmand] 24. feb. kl. 3:17
Just chop off a short bit of road with the slicer, then bulldoze it, then put in this station. Done.
Ms.TAKE 23. feb. kl. 16:41
...If only they could be build on existing chunk of road (as freeestyle station does with tracks) instead of it's own... :deadlyrabbit:
lollus  [ophavsmand] 23. feb. kl. 16:38
They do loading and unloading and they can be made huge, small, curvy, they can store goods across the road... They are practically freestyle lorry stations.
Whitewolf 22. feb. kl. 16:03
Are these transfer stations only, or do they work as standard stations for industry loading and unloading?
lollus  [ophavsmand] 14. okt. 2024 kl. 9:29
Yes, it is. You can use other street mods too, but some have quirks.
galaxy055 14. okt. 2024 kl. 6:42
Is your mod (Street fine tuning) okay to use?
lollus  [ophavsmand] 13. okt. 2024 kl. 15:56
Try a game without modded roads please.
galaxy055 13. okt. 2024 kl. 6:27
Since the latest update The game crashes (assertion failure), when I place new ones ingame, some don't show catchment areas neither.
мяFunreal 15. juni 2024 kl. 2:13
I like the idea of this, but i'm not a fan of the really short audio loop of a guy yelling and a truck driving. even when its out in the open with nothing around.
Driver Kaldie 29. feb. 2024 kl. 11:51
Could you make a video-tutorial on how to set this up ?
lollus  [ophavsmand] 9. nov. 2023 kl. 10:06
Stock industries use it, I don't know about modded industries.
jiri 28. okt. 2023 kl. 7:55
hi lollus, does industry use these stations? I couldnt get my log>planks route to work using these as loading/unloading platforms
lollus  [ophavsmand] 25. okt. 2022 kl. 0:52
There is only with and without roof. Whenever you press m or n you increase or decrease a counter. Whenever it crosses nil, the style changes; otherwise, it stays the same. I might make this easier in future.
Balvor 24. okt. 2022 kl. 6:09
I do but it just makes a short jumping Animation and the style stays the same.
lollus  [ophavsmand] 20. okt. 2022 kl. 13:35
Use m and n
Balvor 20. okt. 2022 kl. 11:24
I cant toggle any Roofs, they always stay the same. Some more Roofs would be awesome!
GrumpyZade 12. sep. 2022 kl. 11:39
@lollus tbh I haven't read that since I downloaded this mod ages ago lol
lollus  [ophavsmand] 12. sep. 2022 kl. 6:13
@Grumpy correct, it's in the notes.
lollus  [ophavsmand] 12. sep. 2022 kl. 5:44
It's always one terminal. Now add a module.
Wait, I finally know what you mean: *you use no extra modules*. It may come in handy in tight locations, so I have just published an update with extra capacity for the main module.
GrumpyZade 11. sep. 2022 kl. 11:00
Although I will say I just noticed it had a different road type selected so anytime I tried to place a module down It was trying to change the road as well and therefore messing with the collision.

It appears that the update hasn't been pushed by steam yet regardless of unsubbing and resubbing so I'll try when I get back home later
GrumpyZade 11. sep. 2022 kl. 10:50
Most of the time you gotta delete and replace because of the stupid collision
lollus  [ophavsmand] 11. sep. 2022 kl. 7:55
Here you go, I have just released an update.
BoompaBlubbah 7. juni 2022 kl. 7:35
Thanks for replying quickly! XD
lollus  [ophavsmand] 7. juni 2022 kl. 2:54
Correct. Just make multiple stations, they will work the same as one station with multiple platforms, as long as there is some form of connection between them. The game automatically connects roads and constructions with pink segments, which become visible when you press AltGr + L. Those connections are good enough; if there aren't enough, you can always add some thin street or path.
BoompaBlubbah 6. juni 2022 kl. 22:01
Ok I am quite intrigued by this here modular loading station. I am just completely confused by it :D
Like, you guys speak of "multiple stops" per station. So ... how? I mean, I can connect loading areas across streets and the like, but I can not add an actual additional stop for the same station right? If I am able to do so, could someone please somehow in detail describe how it is su[posed to be built? Thanks in advance :D
lollus  [ophavsmand] 26. apr. 2022 kl. 4:58
If I remove the grid and you disable the roof with <m> and <n>, it will be difficult to remove the module. You can still paint over the terrain with shift by the way.
Reave 26. apr. 2022 kl. 2:32
Hi lollus, I was wondering if it's possible to toggle the tile grid when using gravel or dirt. I find it messes a bit with the looks of the surroundings.
lollus  [ophavsmand] 31. jan. 2022 kl. 15:51
I have just published an update to fix some things and I have thrown in a switch to exclude the sounds.
LB_Industries 31. jan. 2022 kl. 11:50
I love it so much. Just a question is that a problem for you to let us choise if we want to heard the talking ?
Cantora 19. sep. 2021 kl. 17:43
Ok so one minor issue I've run in to when trying to stack these stations: Because of the game mechanics choosing the closest platform, it tends to favour one platform over the others quite significantly. When I use a multi-platform stop, the distribution is a bit more even, but with this, I end up with one platform having 5-10x more than the other platforms. I'm not sure if this is something others are finding - or if it's just the way I am setting things up. I've tried several different combos, but no matter what I try, i always end up with one totally uneven platform.
Cantora 18. sep. 2021 kl. 17:25
ok - thanks very much for the run through. I'll have a play around to see how to make this work for me :)
lollus  [ophavsmand] 18. sep. 2021 kl. 15:44
You are doing it right. I normally lay a few narrow, one way roads in parallel (with the street fine tuning) to build complex station compounds. If some are unload-only, you can use stock streetside stations - you don't have to tho.
These stations can only have one stop.
Cantora 18. sep. 2021 kl. 15:24
I'm having trouble figuring out how to add multiple stops. At the moment, I am bulldozing a section of my road and placing two of these down one after the other - and then having to add parallel roads to add more stops. Is that right, or am I really missing something here? :)
Nickor59 5. sep. 2021 kl. 23:22
Nice!!!! problem solved! Thank you very much....
lollus  [ophavsmand] 5. sep. 2021 kl. 11:52
Thanks, it should be fixed now.
Nickor59 5. sep. 2021 kl. 8:07
this is a great mod. congratulation for this work......But i have a problem, when I place an extension, it distorts the whole ground and it covers the water areas .... Do you have a solution to this problem? thank you ;-)
lollus  [ophavsmand] 7. dec. 2020 kl. 11:33
Yes, for some reason steam marks internal links as suspicious. And no, you don't need to add any extra truck stops, this one is enough for loading and unloading.
If your lorry station is too far from the train station, connect them with one of the ultrathin paths, you will find them in the street fine tuning. They also work for passengers to reach a station that is a bit far off the road.
na41 7. dec. 2020 kl. 8:57
By the way
The link you sent was flagged up as suspicious by steam
Can I use the spitter you provided in the mod to do the same thing?
na41 7. dec. 2020 kl. 8:52
Thanks for that
At least I found out what the splitter is for lol
The issue I was having was that the warehouse didn’t seem to recognise the truck stops
Trains were coming in but not unloading
When I added the vanilla stops before your stop the train unloaded
It usually works fine but I can’t work out what the problem is.
So for future reference if I want to drop stuff off I need a sort stop no storage needed.
If I want mail etc to collect I need storage.
It works great at rail cargo interchange

I noticed in your pics there are tracks. How and why is that?

Many thanks
lollus  [ophavsmand] 6. dec. 2020 kl. 10:23
Hi man, sorry no videos. This lorry station can load and unload.
The stock streetside station can be plopped on a road, this one instead contains a piece of road, so you may have to remove an existing piece of road to plop it.
I might make it ploppable it one day, but it's quite a lot of work.
If you don't want to destroy a long road, press shift to only bulldoze a shorter chunk. If you want finer control, install the street fine tuning (gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2021038808) , which adds the street splitter to the road construction menu. Use it to split your road into shorter chunks. Press shift and bulldoze only one chunk. Plop the lorry station in its place.
Once you have plopped the lorry station, you can decide to store some of the cargo on the pavement, or not. If not, you will need to add some storage areas, in the same way you add platforms to a train station. Otherwise, you have the choice.

Hi lollus
I’ve had a problem with this
I was using it like the vanilla truck drop off and to pick up mail but it doesn’t seem to do that
Have I got the purpose of it wrong? I don’t understand what you are getting at when you say use the splitter.
I’m not that good at this so a video to explain would be great.
I love how I can use this as a section in a street but I do need to understand how it works better.
lollus  [ophavsmand] 30. okt. 2020 kl. 5:39
I'll see what I can do. Also removing modules is not easy, I might add some roofs to make it easier, too.
IstdasKunstoderkanndasweg 30. okt. 2020 kl. 1:05
Hi, because I like to use the mod very often, I noticed that the sounds are very dominant. Several stations in the immediate vicinity cause an overload.

Would it be possible in a later version to design the sounds and possibly street lights and signs that can be switched off manually?
Sqweloookle 6. sep. 2020 kl. 19:35
Awesome thanks.
lollus  [ophavsmand] 6. sep. 2020 kl. 9:18
@Sqwe: No it does not.
Placement is easier now, to the cost of less collision awareness.
Sqweloookle 6. sep. 2020 kl. 5:33
does this need to be loaded after Street Fine Tuning?
davidmoore668 5. sep. 2020 kl. 19:59
Hi Lollus can you make a short video how it works please. :-)
lollus  [ophavsmand] 5. sep. 2020 kl. 2:01
No need to be sorry, I use the categories in the street menu :-) They are the tiny icons above the street icons. I might have a go at fixing the road menu if we get lots of rain.
This mod starts in 1925, with the tarmac roads.
