Things like custom models - I personally play with camera pretty high up, so I rarely see those.
But as I said, this is all personal preference, and you focus on what you enjoy doing most! Have fun working on it :)
Ultimately though this is up to you, if you wish to continue or not. Best of luck to you anyways!
Hope I am writing this not too late, and you'll see this comment :)
I've been working on this mod a while now and it's not dead, I'm just busy with University work and I'm also working on an extremely exciting collaboration mod that'll be coming in the next 6 months or so. For now, progress on updates for the mod and changes is on hold, but when I get the chance I'm slowly making additions and changes to the mod in my free time so that when I feel it's ready for a new update it'll get one.
No need to find excises, it was a pretty small issue I noticed, and most people would probably not even read the decision description :)
Good luck with your other mod! This one is perfectly playable right now, and the biggest thing I could think of it could need is additional flavour (like more events for different situations Purple Phoenix might find itself in). But it is still better than most of the new mods I've played
It was called "Shadows in the Darkness" but unfortunately has not been released yet. If you are interested I can send you excerpts from the parts I have completed so far?
Issues with history might be apparent in some of the writing, I spent a lot of time writing text late at night so I wouldn't be surprised if there are some mistakes here and there! Progress on updating this mod to add in more new and exciting features is still going on, but is slowed significantly because I am currently working on a total conversion mod which will be roughly the size of the TNO Mod! Once the project is completed I'll make sure to iron out any issues like that.
Thanks for the feedback!
It sounds like the issue you are having is a compatibility issue with the mod. Try checking the following:
- Your HOI4 is updated to the most recent update (Sometimes games can bug and not automatically update when a patch is released, so try using the "Check for updates" option in the game's library properties).
- Another mod is incompatible with this one (Sometimes modders edit core files of the game which another mod needs to use, I haven't edited core files apart from a few lines to fix errors with the vanilla game, so try only using one mod at a time).
- It's a cache issue (Rarely, the steam software fails to load in certain sections of mods for some reason, I've had the issue before on Kaiserreich, so try just restarting the game).
Hopefully this helped! If nothing changes after you try these things, send me a DM and I'll try to find out the specifics of what's going wrong so I can fix the game for you.
Have a great day!

- Generals and field marshals are easily done, it's just a matter of finding suitable portraits for them, so finding apt ones might take me a bit especially if you play late game and want loads of unique ones.
- Unfortunately, the issue with custom-made equipment and units such as the Titan-1 Maneater is that the core code that I'd need to make the icons appear on-map is not yet available, so when the next game update is released I'll check to see if the code I need to edit is available, and I'll get on it.
- The mod is actually based on a book I wrote a year or so back, so adding lore and detail on the origin of the mod is an absolute can-do.
Hope you're having fun!
Many thanks,

Had blast playing this though, awesome mod
