Sad to see that this isn't updated, but I understand author point the codes being updated constantly right now for 1.3 so that's just pushing this pretty interesting mod behind a lot. Stay safe too mate.:steamthumbsup:

I regret to inform that 1.3 has broke a lot of things and with me being not as active lately it is likely that it will not be updated.

with ideology out and rimworld up to 1.3 (which makes most mods incompatible).

I found something that could theoretically be an issue can you let me know if it fixes it? Also do you know if you are running a save that crosses versions and/or are you running other mods?

No worries, she isn't a year old and she is still listed as the owner. I did have to put her in a cryptosleep casket to save her life due to not having a energy converter steup but once it was she came out and all ways good for about a ten days then she stopped receiving faith while her pedestal was full.

My apologies for the late reply but I have a few questions. Is the Goddess over a year old and transformed when you are running out of faith and is the Goddess showing up on the owners list of the Faith Pedestal?

Not to be a bother but I'm still running into this faith problem where the pedestal is fully charged but my goddess is fading, which wasn't always the case she was charging normally then out of nowhere her faith went empty.

Well, maybe there is perhaps some mod conflict on my list that makes goddess "don't care" about altar faith, or maybe i have too many prisoners? Anyway, i am looking forward to your update - i will write more feedback then.

After looking around some more seems everything is working as intended. I would say that it is mismanagement of faith. Probably going to roll out some UI updates in future to give some more info.

Yes, she is linked to the altar. With faith converter on and supplied with enough power that says "gain rate 10" goddess is still dying from faith deprivation. At this point i don't know what to do.
I am not even using her transformation power.

Also the Faith Cap being set to 100 is because a Energy Converter is connected to it. Can you check if the Goddess is assigned to the pedestal?

So for clarification the Faith Pedestal acts as a buffer for faith and all faith is directed through the Pedestal to the Goddess. Think of the Faith Pedestal as a battery with a throttled output that connects to the Goddess(Bit more complicated but best way I can think of describing it). Normally faith is generated through the relations that the Goddess has with others, the exception which is my concern being when you have built a Energy Converter. When you build a Energy Converter it is supposed to completely nullify the relations(positive and negative) and only use power for faith generation. Am I misunderstanding something?

After i reduced prisoners amount, altar has no problem with generating faith...but it seems like it has no correlation with goddess. She is still going deeper into faith deprivation state even tho faith is going up. Also, bigger amount of pawns are friendly towards her which should imply that she should not be sick from lack of faith. Now i am kinda confused how it works. Does goddes need faith from altar at all? Or her faith can be restored only with consuming crystals?

And Energy converter is doing good now - it sucks 5000W and generates stable 10 faith per...tick? But goddess doesn't care - she is going to die anyway. But did you reduce altar max faith? I think it was 1000 2-3 days ago, but now max is 100...

Can you give me more info on what is occurring with the Energy Converter it sounds like something is not working as intended? Are any changes happening to the Faith Pedestal when one is built? Easiest way to tell is the faith cap should go down to 100.

I tested it both ways, with and without converter. In case i mentioned before (a lot of prisoners) it was not enough to keep goddess alive. Without converter it was something like -1,5 and with converter it was -0,7 . It is weird that all prisoners are unfriendly towards goddess before they could even see her, but colonists need to socialize as normal to make faith goes up. Would you perhaps consider making hostile pawns on the map less impactful towards faith? As I mentioned before, in such circumstances it is impossible to have big prisons because all that "hate" will flood Her in no-time.

Wait so was there a Energy Converter connected to the Faith Pedestal or did I misunderstand? For clarification the Energy Converter is supposed to change the Faith Pedestal so that it uses power instead of relations. Also yes all relations affecting the Faith is intentional.

So i chcecked names, and such faith drain in my case was from...prisoners. I had 19 colonists (goddess included) and about 22 prisoners. After her spawning, almost all prisoners had some relationship with goddess (as you may guess, they were negative) and only a few colonists. This created a very big disproportions in relationship, and by that faith drain. So in conclusions this mod is not suited for big prisons now.
I'll reduce my prisoners numbers, and wait for goddes to spawn. I hope she won't die this time in a few days. i'll give you more feedback when i am done with testing.

Ok hopefully this comment is seen this time. The Energy Converter is not supposed to have a high faith yield and can power at most a Goddess and have a Faith Crystaliser set to 3 for draw. o I would suggest double checking what is drawing faith and the numbers. It is a system I need to clean up at some point and be a bit more clear as to what is giving and drawing faith at some point. If there are still issues let me know.

Yes, i think patch removed that red error. When i loaded the game, i see no more errors in logs. Also, i was talking about altar faith drain, not goddess drain (not sure if this changes anything, but i wanted to preceise). Yes, around 20 colonists has -25 relation with goddess (hostile), and only about 5 are her friends. Right now altar drain is -1.49 (per tick? per second?) without energy converter. Price of crystals makes it very hard in such circumstances to keep her alive. She will go into faith deprivation soon, and crystals can't be administered through medical bill, they have to be consumed in person. So when goddes goes into unresponsive state because of no faith, she is already sentenced to death as she can't eat crystals by herself.
On the other side, energy converter is not enough to keep faith above 0 - in this case it will be closer to zero, but still around -0,7. What to do?

Early faith can be supplemented with Faith Crystals. It is weird that there would be a lot of Faith Drain in the first year with the decreased drain to make it easier to build social raport. Do any of the colonists despise them by any chance? Also did the update to the mod fix the issue or is it still broken?

I think it was after building, and it was present after reload until i deconstructed altar. This goes for all 3 altar parts, they all have similar red errors. Also, when goddess spawn it is very hard to not make her faith deprived - she can't really make enough social interactions to keep faith growing, and one energy converter is not enough to keep it above 0. If we could add more energy converters, or faith drain would be insignificant for first few days after spawn it would be much better (or playable at all).

Not to worry assigning has been addressed. Added a rare permanent buff Faith Link that can only occur with bonded animals.

@Blade of Debt - I don't think it's possible if they're only assigned, as assigning is something that can be easily changed in-game. Maybe if they're bonded , as that's something more permanent.

No it is not possible for faith to be gained through animals with it A: being even more broken for large colonies and B: does not fit properly into the image of the mod.

@deadlygaming2005 - Most gods/goddess's look human, but it depends on the religion. Some have wings, like angels, others don't even have human heads, others don't have human legs, etc. But not all gods/goddess's are human looking, it depends purely on the Pantheon.
